The position Usability EngineerOverview: Join Philips as a Usability Engineer and play a vital role in enhancing healthcare solutions. You will focus on ensuring excellent user experiences and supporting physicians in delivering optimal care through innovative advancements in medical imaging and technology. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver usability requirements and evidence throughout the product design and development process, ensuring regulatory and customer needs are met. - Conduct workflow analysis and user research to understand context and elicit usability requirements. - Analyze post-market data to identify usability issues and lead usability FMEA. - Define and organize usability engineering plans and activities in cooperation with business partners. - Plan and execute usability evaluations, ensuring high UX quality, safety, and compliance with international standards such as IEC 62366 and FDA guidelines. - Advocate for user needs and collaborate effectively with global multidisciplinary teams. Skills and Experience: - Minimum 3 years' experience in usability engineering for medical devices. - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for medical device usability. - Knowledge of quality systems (QMS) and cognitive ergonomics principles. - Proven capability in leading projects and collaborating in multidisciplinary environments. - A Master's degree in Human Factors Engineering, HCI, or related fields is required.
