Leiding geven aan service op niveau

Herberg De Herten in Oostkamp is een verfijnde culinaire bestemming in een groene omgeving, erkend door Gault&Millau. Met een ambitieus team bouwen we dagelijks aan een consistente totaalbeleving waarin kwaliteit, precisie en gastgerichtheid centraal staan.

Om onze verdere groei te ondersteunen, zoeken wij een Maître d'Hôtel / Restaurant Manager die de volledige front-of-house aanstuurt en de service structureel naar een hoger niveau brengt.

Jouw rol

Als Maître d'Hôtel draag je de eindverantwoordelijkheid over zaal en bar. Je waarborgt een service die klopt in elk detail en creëert een omgeving waarin het team optimaal presteert.

Concreet sta je in voor:

  • Het warm verwelkomen van gasten en creëren van een verfijnde totaalbeleving
  • Het aansturen en ontwikkelen van het zaalteam met duidelijke verwachtingen en structuur
  • Het organiseren van de service in functie van de bezetting
  • De coördinatie tussen zaal, bar en keuken voor een vlotte samenwerking
  • Het opmaken van de personeelsplanning
  • Het beheren van reservaties en kassasystemen
  • Het bewaken van kwaliteit, structuur en serviceprocedures

Je neemt ownership over de volledige gastbeleving en stuurt bij waar nodig, met oog voor detail en consistentie.

Herberg de Herten in Oostkamp opende in december 2024 de deuren en groeide meteen uit tot een verrassende plek: een uniek restaurant waar gasten gezellig tafelen met vrienden en familie, midden in de natuur.

Met een vermelding in Gault&Millau 2026 en een hecht, gedreven team bouwen we elke dag aan een gastvrije ervaring die het verschil maakt.

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Je hebt minimum 3 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige rol binnen een gastronomische of high-end setting
  • Je beschikt over sterke leidinggevende vaardigheden en het vermogen om een team te structureren en te laten groeien
  • Je hebt sterke organisatorische skills en blijft rustig onder druk
  • Je hebt oog voor detail en streeft naar kwaliteit in elke service
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en denkt oplossingsgericht
  • Je bent flexibel inzetbaar en houdt van een omgeving met pit
