Dan is deze vacature iets voor jou! Dit ga je doen We hebben een functie beschikbaar als verpleegkundig specialist binnen ons team. De functie is in te vullen voor 28 uur per week. In deze functie versterk je het team, wat zich richt op de volle breedte van de endocriene oncologie (waaronder schildklier-, bijniertumoren en familiaire endocriene tumorsyndromen). Jij wordt de casemanager voor een belangrijk deel van deze patiëntengroep en eerste aanspreekpunt voor de poli sneldiagnostiek schildkliernoduli. Dit betekent dat je nauw betrokken bent bij patiënten vanaf het moment dat zij de eerste keer de polikliniek bezoeken en bij de zorg voor, tijdens en na de behandeling van desbetreffende patiënten. Je behandelt patiënten op de polikliniek Endocriene Oncologie. Als verpleegkundig specialist werk je in deze functie vanuit het verpleegkundig domein in het overgangsgebied tussen care en cure. Begeleiding is een wezenlijk onderdeel van het patiëntencontact, naast het uitvoeren van een aantal medische taken binnen de grenzen van je eigen deskundigheid. Te denken valt daarbij aan het diagnostisch onderzoek, het bespreken van behandelvoorstellen en de follow-up controle. Tijdens de gehele behandeling ben jij het vaste aanspreekpunt voor de patiënt en diens naasten.
