The posting

Je staat in voor de pre- en postoperatieve zorg van patiënten die voor een chirurgische ingreep in dagopname komen. Je combineert verpleegtechnische zorg met persoonlijke begeleiding: je luistert naar vragen, stelt patiënten en hun naasten gerust en houdt hun herstel nauwlettend in de gaten.

Takenpakket

  • Je bereidt patiënten voor op hun ingreep en voert de nodige verpleegtechnische handelingen uit.
  • Je observeert en begeleidt patiënten na de ingreep. Je hebt aandacht voor pijnbestrijding, wondzorg en een veilig ontslag.
  • Je stemt je zorg af op de behoeften van zowel volwassen als pediatrische patiënten.
  • Je geeft patiënten en hun naasten duidelijke informatie over de ingreep, het herstel en de verdere zorg thuis.
  • Je registreert de verleende zorg zorgvuldig in het patiëntendossier en zorgt voor een heldere overdracht.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met artsen, verpleegkundigen en andere zorgverleners om de zorg vlot te laten verlopen.

Wat zijn jouw troeven

  • Je werkt graag samen en communiceert helder en empathisch met patiënten, hun naasten en jouw collega’s.
  • Je merkt wanneer een patiënt onrustig is en weet die op een rustige, empathische manier gerust te stellen.
  • Je blijft rustig wanneer de planning verandert en kunt vlot schakelen tussen verschillende zorgvragen.
  • Je staat open voor feedback, opleiding en verdere ontwikkeling.

Aanwervingsvoorwaarden

  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma verpleegkunde en het vereiste visum.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur al enkele jaren ervaring in een ziekenhuis. Ervaring binnen de chirurgische zorg is een meerwaarde.
  • Een pediatrische achtergrond, bijvoorbeeld door werkervaring of een postgraduaat pediatrie, is een bijzondere troef. Indien je hierover niet beschikt wordt het engagement verwacht dat je hiervoor de nodige opleidingen volgt.
