Het Universitair Psychiatrisch Centrum KU Leuven (UPC KU Leuven) kijkt uit naar nieuwe, extra krachten. Het is het grootste psychiatrisch centrum van ons land, telt meer dan duizend medewerkers en geldt als hét academisch referentieziekenhuis in de geestelijke gezondheidszorg. Het UPC KU Leuven is georganiseerd in drie diensten. Er is een dienst voor kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie, voor volwassenenpsychiatrie en voor ouderenpsychiatrie. Jobomschrijving

Het Expertisecentrum Perinatale Psychiatrie (ECPP) biedt gespecialiseerde zorg aan (aanstaande) ouders die tijdens de zwangerschap of na de geboorte van hun kind geconfronteerd worden met ernstige psychische problemen. Een multidisciplinaire aanpak staat centraal, met aandacht voor het herstel van de ouder, het versterken van de ouder-kindrelatie en een gezonde start voor het kind. Wil jij mee het verschil maken voor gezinnen in een kwetsbare maar tegelijk betekenisvolle levensfase? Dan ben jij misschien de collega die we zoeken.

je functie

  • je bent de verpleegkundige binnen een gespecialiseerd multidisciplinair team van psychiaters, psychologen, een vroedvrouw, een maatschappelijk werker en een psychomotore therapeut
  • je draagt actief bij aan het behandelprogramma en begeleidt, samen met collega's, zowel individuele contacten als therapeutische groepssessies
  • je ondersteunt (aanstaande) ouders met ernstige psychische kwetsbaarheid tijdens een cruciale levensfase en draagt mee bij aan het versterken van het welzijn van ouder én kind
  • je biedt individuele begeleiding en groepsbegeleiding aan binnen het behandelaanbod van het ECPP, de groepswerking vormt een belangrijke pijler van de behandeling
  • je werkt mee aan een gespecialiseerd dagprogramma waarin vaardigheidstraining, psycho-educatie, ervaringsgerichte groepssessies en het versterken van de ouder-kindrelatie centraal staan
  • je werkt nauw samen met collega´s van gynaecologie, verloskunde, neonatologie en Parel voor de begeleiding van (aanstaande) moeders
  • je werkt steeds in afstemming met reeds betrokken hulpverleners en professionele netwerken
  • je hebt aandacht voor het welzijn van zowel ouder als kind en draagt vanuit de principes van Infant Mental Health actief bij aan het versterken van de ouder-kindrelatie
  • je neemt deel aan innovatieve initiatieven, kwaliteitsontwikkeling en deskundigheidsbevordering binnen de perinatale psychiatrie
  • je werkt graag samen binnen een multidisciplinair team en draagt actief bij aan een open en lerende teamcultuur
  • je beschikt over een bachelordiploma verpleegkunde of vroedkunde
  • je hebt enkele jaren ervaring binnen de geestelijke gezondheidszorg, een masterdiploma in de verpleeg- en vroedkunde is een extra troef
  • je hebt affiniteit met perinatale psychiatrie en de zorg voor (aanstaande) ouders met psychische kwetsbaarheid
  • je bent vertrouwd met begrippen en terminologie uit Infant Mental Health - indien je de opleiding tot deskundige Infant Mental Health volgde, is dit een belangrijke meerwaarde
  • je voelt je thuis in een omgeving in ontwikkeling en ziet het als een uitdaging om samen met collega's het behandelaanbod verder vorm te geven
  • je combineert een sterke teamgerichtheid met de nodige zelfstandigheid en verantwoordelijkheidszin
  • je koppelt professionaliteit aan authenticiteit en beschikt over een sterk reflectief vermogen
  • je toont initiatief, flexibiliteit en creativiteit
  • je draagt je deskundigheid en professionaliteit uit naar interne en externe partners
