Ben jij een gedreven zorgprofessional met een hart voor patiënten en een passie voor teamwork? Dan is deze uitdaging iets voor jou!

Samen met de hoofdverpleegkundige, verpleegkundigen, zorgkundigen en een administratieve zorgverlener sta je in voor de zorg aan patiënten binnen de disciplines gastro-enterologie, nefrologie en endocrinologie. Binnen een warme werkomgeving krijg je de kans je talenten in te zetten in een gevarieerd takenpakket:

  • uitvoeren van verpleegtechnische handelingen bij de patiënt (geven van injecties, het plaatsen van infusen, het verzorgen van wonden, het aanbrengen van voedselsondes en het afnemen van bloedstalen, …)
  • objectief en subjectief je patiënt observeren en in functie hiervan rapporteren aan collega’s en artsen.
  • meten en interpreteren van parameters die je afneemt bij je patiënt.
  • instaan voor diverse vormen van medicatietherapie en hun werking.
  • ondersteuning bieden aan artsen door het opvolgen en uitvoeren van de medische opdrachten en het assisteren bij medisch-technische handelingen.
  • uitvoeren van screening i.v.m. preventie (o.a. vallen en decubitus) bij de patiënt en opvolgen van richtlijnen hierover.
  • begeleiden en betrekken van jouw patiënt en eventuele familie in het zorgproces.
  • instaan voor de administratie omtrent de opname en het ontslag van patiënten op jouw afdeling.
  • correct informeren van bezoekers van de patiënt in kader van specifieke maatregelen, zoals oa. specifieke maatregelen bij isolatie, relevante aandachtspunten voor de familie...
  • je bent een dynamische verpleegkundige
  • je hebt interesse voor gastro-enterologie, nefrologie/endocrinologie en diabetes
  • we verwachten een sterk empathisch vermogen en je kan kritisch denken
  • je bent respectvol en hebt een sterk verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel
  • je stelt je leergierig op
  • je bent zelfzeker en stressbestendig
