The posting

Projects in Care zoekt dagelijks naar gemotiveerde freelance verpleegkundigen die extra opdrachten in zorginstellingen willen bijwerken in functie van zijn/haar hoofdberoep/professionele agenda of projectmatig inzetbaar zijn.

Momenteel ben ik voor onze klant in Brasschaat op zoek naar een verpleegkundige die kan ondersteunen op de dienst Operatiekwartier.

Dit (voornamelijk) op weekdagen in 'lange' diensten (9,5 uren).

De verpleegkundige zal voornamelijk ingezet worden als omloopverpleegkundige. Ervaring als instrumentiste is uiteraard mooi meegenomen.

Takenpakket:

● het voorbereiden van de operatiezaal: je controleert voor elke ingreep of al het nodige materiaal aanwezig is en gaat na of er specifieke voorzorgen vereist zijn voor de ingreep. Je maakt voor elke ingreep, volgens de geldende procedures, de nodige materialen en

apparatuur klaar voor de ingreep. Je waakt hierbij over de steriliteit er van.

● het voorbereiden van de patiënt voor de ingreep en het opvolgen van de patiënt tijdens de ingreep: je controleert de gezondheidstoestand en de nodige formaliteiten bij de patiënt voor de ingreep en zorgt voor het tijdig transport van de patiënt naar de operatiezaal. Je ondersteunt en assisteert anesthesisten en chirurgen bij de voorbereiding van de patiënt in

de operatiezaal, bij inductie en tijdens de chirurgische ingreep.

● het opvolgen van de patiënt na de ingreep : je verleent na de ingreep hulp aan de arts en helpt bij de installatie van de patiënt ter voorbereiding van het transport naar recovery. Je verzorgt het transport van de patiënt naar recovery en rapporteert daar aan de verantwoordelijke verpleegkundige over de toestand van de patiënt

● het instrumenteren bij de ingreep: je zorgt voor de steriele voorbereiding (rubben, steriel kleden,…) en het steriel opdekken en ordenen van de instrumententafel. Je volgt actief de

ingreep en participeert tijdens de ingreep op aanwijzingen en handelingen van de chirurg. Je bewaakt ten alle tijde de steriliteit. Je levert tijdig het noodzakelijk chirurgisch materiaal aan. Je treedt anticiperend op indien noodzakelijk en pleegt voortdurend overleg met de chirurg
