The posting

De locatie Op de Plaggeweg wonen 20 cliënten tussen de 30 en 80 jaar met een lichamelijke beperking of niet-aangeboren hersenletsel (NAH). Zij leven zo zelfstandig mogelijk, met ondersteuning waar nodig. De dag begint met het verlenen van ADL-zorg. Bij sommige bewoners gebruik je een passieve tillift en voer je verpleegtechnische handelingen uit. Bij andere bewoners, heb je vooral een aansturende of begeleidende rol. Na de ochtendzorg drinken we samen met collega's en bewoners een kopje koffie in de gezamenlijke ruimte. Bewoners kiezen zelf of ze hierbij willen aansluiten, net als bij andere gezamenlijke momenten, zoals samen eten in het restopunt. Gedurende de dag spring je in op zorgvragen, ondersteun je bewoners bij dagelijkse activiteiten en zijn er informele contactmomenten. Sommige cliënten nemen deel aan dagbesteding. De avonddienst start met een kop koffie. Vervolgens help je bij de maaltijdondersteuning en begint voor de eerste bewoners de bedroutine. Soms wordt er nog een spelletje gedaan in de resto, waarna je weer ondersteunt bij ADL-zorg. Wanneer alle zorg is verleend, draag je de dienst over aan de nachtdienst.Zo maak jij het verschil Als verpleegkundige zijn je taken divers en heb je verschillende petten op: • De veilige haven Dagelijks voer je verschillende verpleegtechnische handelingen uit. Dit varieert van wondverzorging tot katheterisatie en het toedienen van medicatie. Je komt soms complexe (medische) situaties tegen, maar de zorg gaat verder dan dit: in het contact bied je veiligheid, structuur en ontstaat er een vertrouwensband tussen jou en de cliënt. • De observator Naast de geplande zorg ben je alert en daadkrachtig bij plotselinge veranderingen in de gezondheid van cliënten. Je communiceert met de cliënt, schat de situatie zo goed mogelijk in en overlegt met andere betrokkenen, zoals een arts of een fysiotherapeut. • De gids Vanwege hun beperking kunnen cliënten niet alles zelf doen (wat ze misschien eerder wél konden).
