Ben jij een commerciële doorzetter die energie haalt uit het binnenhalen van nieuwe klanten? Als Vertegenwoordiger Logistiek bouw je actief mee aan de verdere groei van de logistieke activiteiten in Zeebrugge. Je combineert prospectie met relatiebeheer en bent het gezicht van de organisatie bij klanten, partners en netwerkevents.

Jouw taken?

  • Actief nieuwe klanten en commerciële opportuniteiten identificeren binnen de haven-, automotive- en scheepvaartsector en zo de commerciële groei realiseren;
  • Onderhouden en verder uitbouwen van duurzame klantenrelaties door regelmatig klanten te bezoeken, deel te nemen aan netwerkevents en opportuniteiten in de markt te detecteren;
  • Voeren van onderhandelingen over prijzen, contracten en service level agreements en commerciële dossiers succesvol afronden;
  • Opvolgen van marktontwikkelingen, concurrentie en klantbehoeften en deze inzichten vertalen naar commerciële acties en groeikansen;
  • Intensief samenwerken met de Sales Project Manager, operations en andere interne afdelingen om klanten een kwalitatieve dienstverlening te garanderen;
  • Bijdragen aan prijsstrategieën, budgetten en commerciële rapporteringen en waken over de naleving van havenreglementeringen, HSSE-beleid en douane- en handelsvoorschriften;
  • Regelmatig reizen binnen Vlaanderen om klanten te bezoeken en sporadisch deelnemen aan buitenlandse netwerkevents (ongeveer 2 keer per jaar);
  • Rechtstreeks rapporteren aan de COO en mee bouwen aan de verdere uitbouw van de commerciële activiteiten in Zeebrugge.

Je bent een echte hunter die graag de baan op gaat en energie krijgt van prospectie en het uitbouwen van een sterk netwerk. Dankzij jouw commerciële flair, pragmatische aanpak en overtuigingskracht weet je deuren te openen en duurzame klantenrelaties op te bouwen. Je voelt je thuis in een internationale omgeving en schakelt vlot tussen verschillende gesprekspartners.

Wat maakt jou de ideale kandidaat?

  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma aangevuld met 2 à 3 jaar commerciële ervaring, of 5+ jaar relevante commerciële ervaring binnen de haven-, logistieke of automotive sector;
  • Sterke affiniteit met de havenwereld, logistiek of automotive; kennis van RoRo-activiteiten en/of Finished Vehicle Logistics is een pluspunt;
  • Uitstekende communicatieve en onderhandelingsvaardigheden, gecombineerd met ervaring in stakeholdermanagement;
  • Vlotte kennis van Nederlands en Engels;
  • Bereidheid om regelmatig klanten te bezoeken binnen Vlaanderen en sporadisch naar het buitenland te reizen voor netwerkevents;
  • Commerciële, resultaatgerichte en zelfstandige ingesteldheid met een pragmatische aanpak;
  • Sterk zakelijk en financieel inzicht, inclusief ervaring met prijszetting, omzetprognoses of P&L;
  • Teamspeler die nauw samenwerkt met een ervaren commercieel en operationeel team, maar tegelijk zelfstandig zijn agenda en prospectie organiseert.
