Als Nutanix Virtualisatie Engineer werk je aan bedrijfskritische IT-infrastructuren met hoge eisen aan beschikbaarheid, performance en security. Je vertaalt architectuur en standaarden naar robuuste Nutanix-oplossingen en draagt bij aan continuïteit en toekomstbestendigheid. Over de functie Als Virtualisatie Engineer werk je aan het ontwerpen, implementeren en beheren van bedrijfskritische virtuele enterprise-omgevingen. Je maakt deel uit van een team dat verantwoordelijk is voor de continuïteit en modernisering van complexe IT-infrastructuren, onder andere binnen de overheids- en defensiecontext. Je werkt aan grootschalige omgevingen met duizenden VM's, verspreid over meerdere datacenters, waarbij stabiliteit, performance, security en beschikbaarheid centraal staan. De rol vraagt diepgaande technische expertise én het vermogen om vooruit te denken in termen van schaalbaarheid, risico's en toekomstige groei. Jouw verantwoordelijkheden - Ontwerpen, implementeren en beheren van virtuele enterprise-omgevingen op basis van Nutanix - Optimaliseren van gevirtualiseerde omgevingen voor performance, stabiliteit en capaciteit - Inrichten en beheren van replicatie- en disaster recovery-oplossingen - Configuratie en optimalisatie van virtuele servers voor maximale prestaties - Documenteren van installaties via runbooks en architectuurdiagrammen - Standaardiseren van processen en procedures binnen beheer en operatie - Uitvoeren van risicoanalyses en capaciteitsplanning - Samenwerken met operationele teams en databasebeheer om groei en veranderingen te ondersteunen - Ontwikkelen van KPI's, monitoring en rapportages voor performance en cap...
