Vacature informatie: Sinds 2015 is Stichting Maatschappelijke Dienstverlening (SMD) samen met de gemeente Enschede de organisatie achter Wijkteams Enschede. Wijkteams Enschede is een samenwerkingsverband van beide organisaties. Een krachtige combinatie van vakinhoudelijke en juridisch-procedurele kennis; beide nodig om inwoners goed te kunnen ondersteunen. We hebben de wens om mensen, buurten en wijken in hun eigen kracht te zetten zodat zij zelfstandig verder kunnen in de samenleving. Vanuit de visie: 'Een inclusieve samenleving waarin mensen als mensen worden behandeld en geen nummer zijn. Want iedereen telt mee. Iedereen doet mee naar eigen kunnen en met een eigen verantwoordelijkheid.'' De Raad van Toezicht (hierna RvT) houdt toezicht op de belangen van de SMD en alle stakeholders. Hierbij werken ze volgens de Governancecode Sociaal Werk Nederland (2017). De taken zijn vastgesteld in de statuten van de stichting. Dit is ook meteen de basis van het toezichtkader waarin de afspraken tussen directie en de raad zijn vastgelegd. De SMD kent een Raad van Toezicht van 5 leden. Ieder lid van de RvT heeft een specifiek aandachtsgebied. De aandachtsgebieden in 2026 zijn: (arbeids)recht, overheid, financiën, werkveld, marktwerking en maatschappelijk ondernemerschap. Voorts geldt voor alle leden dat zij zich bezig houden met zingevingsvraagstukken en morele dilemma's. Wegens het beeindigen van de zittingstermijn gaat de Raad na deze zomer op zoek naar een nieuwe voorzitter. De komende maanden zal het profiel daarvoor worden opgesteld en wordt de procedure en doorlooptijd van de vacature vastgesteld. Nadere informatie zal op deze site worden opgenomen.
