Then we're looking for you. We are looking for a [position] for our furniture factory Warehouse assistant, 32 to 37.5 hours per week . You'll ensure that materials, parts and products are in the right place at the right time. This is a vital role, because without a well-organised warehouse, the rest of our production comes to a standstill. Including our monthly drinks in our own café. What will you do? As a Warehouse Assistant, you and your colleagues are responsible for ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly. You switch between different tasks throughout the day and ensure that production and logistics continue to run smoothly. Your duties will include, amongst other things: ✓ Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods ✓ Collecting and preparing materials and components for production ✓ Loading and unloading goods ✓ Moving materials within the warehouse and production area ✓ Checking quantities and stock levels ✓ Ensure that goods are stored in the correct location ✓ Identifying discrepancies and shortages ✓ Keeping the warehouse tidy, well-organised and safe ✓ Working alongside colleagues from the warehouse, production and dispatch departments No two days are exactly the same.
