The posting

Voor een speler in meubilair en interieuronderdelen (regio Waasland) zoeken we een empathische en daadkrachtige warehouse supervisor / teamlead magazijn (2-ploegen). In deze rol draait het niet om een strakke controleur vanachter een bureau, maar om een zichtbare coach op de werkvloer. Met een verdeling van 80% mensgerichte sturing en 20% operationele opvolging zorg jij dat een team van een 30-tal magazijnmedewerkers zich gewaardeerd voelt, optimaal samenwerkt en op topniveau presteert.

Takenpakket

Als Warehouse Supervisor ben jij de verbindende factor binnen de magazijnoperatie. Je leidt de dagelijkse overlegmomenten, stelt de personeelsplanning op en waarborgt een veilige, georganiseerde en warme werkomgeving. In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volledige teamaansturing, de opvolging van kwalitatieve goederenstromen (pick, pack, verzending) en het welzijn en de groei van jouw medewerkers.

  • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor jouw team, voert actieve gesprekken rond welzijn en persoonlijke groei, en schrikt er niet van terug om indien nodig ook moeilijke gesprekken op een respectvolle manier aan te gaan.
  • Je voert sollicitatiegesprekken voor nieuwe collega's, begeleidt hun onboardingstraject op de vloer en detecteert continu opleidingsnoden.
  • Je stelt de week- en dagplanning op op basis van workload en prioriteiten, bewaakt de output en kwaliteit, en grijpt kordaat in bij logistieke afwijkingen.
  • Je verzorgt een heldere ploegenoverdracht in nauw overleg met de Team Manager, assistent-coördinatoren en de wisselende ploeg.
  • Je bewaakt de orde, netheid en veiligheid op de vloer en stimuleert continu procesverbeteringen volgens 5S- en Lean-principes.

Wie we zoeken:

  • Je hebt minstens 2 jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende rol binnen een logistieke of industriële magazijnomgeving.
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende 'people skills', bent een actieve luisteraar en haalt voldoening uit het enthousiasmeren, coachen en verbinden van een divers team.
  • Ervaring met personeelsplanningen, het voeren van functioneringsgesprekken en basiskennis van 5S / Lean-principes.
  • Je bent bereid om te werken in een 2-ploegenstelsel (vroege shift: 06u00 - 14u00 // late shift: 14u00 - 22u00).
  • Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands; aanvullende talenkennis is een troef om vlot te communiceren op een diverse werkvloer.
