Bij een internationaal opererende offshore-engineeringorganisatie in Rotterdam werk je aan gewichtsbeheersing voor drijvende productie-installaties. Als Weight Control Engineer help je betrouwbare, veilige en kostenefficiënte ontwerpen te realiseren, van conceptontwikkeling tot detailengineering. Je brengt gewichtsgegevens samen, analyseert de gevolgen van ontwerpkeuzes en bewaakt de aansluiting op projectspecificaties en internationale normen. Daarbij kijk je niet alleen naar afzonderlijke componenten, maar ook naar hun invloed op het totale ontwerp en de raakvlakken tussen technische disciplines. In de dagelijkse praktijk stem je berekeningen, technische gegevens en opleveringen af met collega-engineers, leveranciers en onderaannemers. Je plant je werkzaamheden binnen de projectplanning en maakt de impact van wijzigingen inzichtelijk. Eerdere projectervaringen gebruik je om analyses en werkwijzen te verbeteren. Zo verdiep je je in weight control, engineeringtools en systems engineering, terwijl je bijdraagt aan projecten die ontwerp, bouw, installatie en operatie met elkaar verbinden. Functie-inhoud - Gewichtsgegevens verzamelen, controleren en verwerken in analyses en rapportages - Passende rekenmethoden en procedures selecteren binnen de projectspecificaties - Ontwerpwijzigingen beoordelen op hun impact op gewicht en systeemraakvlakken - Technische opleveringen plannen en bewaken op kwaliteit en doorlooptijd - Ontwerpen toetsen aan internationale normen, projectafspraken en interne eisen - Afstemmen met leveranciers, onderaannemers en andere engineeringdisciplines - Lessen uit eerdere projecten toepassen bij ontwerpoptimalisatie Functie-eisen - Afgeronde technische hbo- of wo-opleiding in een relevante richting - Je hebt 0 tot 5 jaar werkervaring; ervaring buiten de offshoresector is ook relevant - Affiniteit met gewichtsbeheersing, technische analyses en ontwerpberekeningen - Basiskennis van engineeringtools en belangstelling voor concept- en detailontwerp -.
