Deze onderneming in de regio Gent telt een team van zo’n 40 medewerkers, inclusief vaste onderaannemers. Ze zijn gespecialiseerd in het realiseren van industriële maatwerkprojecten. Elk project wordt volledig in eigen huis uitgewerkt: van mechanisch en elektrisch ontwerp tot automatisering en eindmontage.

Hun doorgedreven technische expertise en focus op kwaliteit maken van dit bedrijf een gerespecteerde speler in de regio en ver daarbuiten.

Om de werking in het atelier verder te versterken, zijn ze op zoek naar een ervaren & gedreven werkplaatsverantwoordelijke die de dagelijkse leiding in handen neemt en het team van techniekers begeleidt in hun groei. Je krijgt er de kans om een centrale rol te spelen in het optimaliseren van processen, het opvolgen van de planning en het aansturen van een hechte ploeg.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij zorgt ervoor dat de werkplaats op wieltjes loopt, zowel qua planning als opvolging
  • Je stuurt dagelijks een team van ongeveer 15 arbeiders aan en bewaart het overzicht in de productie
  • Ziet dat de juiste materialen tijdig klaarliggen en alles efficiënt voorbereid is
  • Je houdt toezicht op de veiligheid en orde in het atelier en voert regelmatig controles uit
  • Stemt nauw af met collega’s binnen productieplanning en de zaakvoerders
  • Je werkt bijna uitsluitend in de werkplaats en bent daar 95% van je tijd fysiek aanwezig
  • Gaat hands-on aan de slag waar nodig om de ploeg te ondersteunen
  • Coacht medewerkers en grijpt in waar processen verbeteren kunnen worden
  • Je combineert technisch inzicht met leidinggevende ervaring, met een praktische ingesteldheid
  • Verzekert een goede communicatie binnen het team én naar boven toe
  • Je genoot een bacheloropleiding in een technische richting of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Ervaring met lassen en metaalbewerking is belangrijk, aangevuld met leiderschapservaring in een gelijkaardige omgeving
  • Nederlands en Engels beheers je vlot, zodat je vlot kan communiceren met medewerkers en onderaannemers
