OZO Hotels opent een gloednieuw, modern hotel in Hoofddorp met meer dan 300 kamers, hoogwaardige vergaderfaciliteiten, een restaurant, een stijlvolle lobby, een gym en een wellness. Wij zoeken een enthousiaste zelfstandig werkend kok. De zelfstandig werkend kok is verantwoordelijk voor het (voor)bereiden van gerechten en het leveren van een constante kwaliteit volgens de richtlijnen van het hotel. Je werkt zelfstandig in de keuken en ondersteunt het keukenteam om gasten een optimale culinaire ervaring te bieden.Belangrijkste taken en verantwoordelijkheden: • Voorbereiden en bereiden van gerechten volgens receptuur en kwaliteitsnormen. • Beheren van de eigen werkpost in de keuken (mise en place, schoon en georganiseerd houden). • Controleren van kwaliteit, versheid en presentatie van producten en gerechten. • Waarborgen van hygiëne en voedselveiligheid volgens HACCP-richtlijnen. • Meedenken over en bijdragen aan menu- en receptontwikkeling. • Toezien op efficiënt gebruik van ingrediënten en beperken van verspilling. • Ontvangen, controleren en opslaan van geleverde producten. • Aansturen en begeleiden van leerlingen of hulpkrachten indien nodig.
