Restaurant Elaichi gevestigd in Den Haag zoekt een zelfstandig werkend kok. Bereiden van Indiase gerechten. Verrichten van voorbereidende werkzaamheden, zoals wassen, snijden (voor)koken, mengen, roeren e.d. Beoordelen van kwaliteit van te gebruiken producten/ ingrediënten (versheid, houdbaarheid e.d.), klaarzetten hulpmiddelen. Uitvoeren van de bereidingen, bewaken/controleren van de kwaliteit, gaarheid, smaak, kleur, vloeibaarheid e.d. en uitvoeren van bestellingen/bijdoseringen. Doorgeefgereed (laten) maken van bestellingen door het uitvoeren van à la minute kookwerkzaamheden, portioneren en garneren. Toezien op de werkzaamheden van de hulpkracht(en), geven van aanwijzingen en instructies. Toezien op de naleving van de voorschriften op het gebied van veiligheid, Arbo, HACCP en werk- en presentatiemethoden (huisstijl)

Elaichi Indian Restaurant brengt de rijke, authentieke smaken van India naar Den Haag. In onze warme en moderne ambiance serveren wij traditionele gerechten, bereid met verse ingrediënten en passie. Ons doel is om elke gast een onvergetelijke culinaire ervaring te bieden. Ter uitbreiding van ons keukenteam zoeken wij een gemotiveerde Zelfstandig Werkend Kok.

Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden Als Zelfstandig Werkend Kok ben je het culinaire hart van onze keuken. Je werkt zelfstandig aan de verschillende partijen en draagt zorg voor de mise-en-place. Belangrijkste taken: - Bereiden van gerechten: Zelfstandig bereiden van diverse Indiase vlees-, vis- en vegetarische gerechten volgens receptuur. - Kwaliteitsbewaking: Zorgen voor een consistente en hoge kwaliteit van alle gerechten, zowel qua smaak als presentatie. - Aansturing: Begeleiden van (hulp)koks en stagiairs in de keuken. - HACCP-naleving: Verantwoordelijk voor het naleven van de hygiënevoorschriften (HACCP) en het schoon en georganiseerd houden van de werkplek. - Voorraadbeheer: Mede zorgdragen voor efficiënt voorraadbeheer, bestellingen plaatsen en goederen controleren.

Jouw profiel - Opleiding: Minimaal MBO werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur een afgeronde koksopleiding (niveau 3). - Vakkennis: Gedegen kennis van kooktechnieken, ingrediënten en HACCP-richtlijnen. - Vaardigheden: Stressbestendig, flexibel (geen 9-tot-5 mentaliteit), communicatief vaardig en een teamspeler. - Taal: Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse of Engelse taal.
