Ben jij een kei in de keuken of wil je graag je culinaire vaardigheden verder ontwikkelen? Kengzo Waalwijk zoekt gepassioneerde keukenmedewerkers die onze gasten willen verwennen met de allerbeste Chinese en Japanse gerechten. Of je nu ervaring hebt of net begint, bij ons krijg je de kans om te leren van ervaren chefs en mee te bouwen aan een topkwaliteit keuken.

Jouw takenpakket

  • Jouw taken pakket bestaat uit het verrichten van voorbereidende werkzaamheden waaronder het wassen van groenten, snijden en fileren van zalm, het snijden van lamskotelet en rundvlees voor het maken van verschillende gerechten met een keukenteam dat bestaat uit ongeveer 5 collega’s met aan het hoofd de chefkok.
  • Bereiden en maken van de gerechten en uitvoeren van tussentijdse kwaliteit- als hygiënische controles.
  • Gereed maken en controleren van gerechten voor uitgifte van gerechten waarna de bedieningsmedewerkers deze kan overnemen voor het plaatsen bij warmhoud rechaud.
  • Plannen van de dagelijkse werkzaamheden en bestellen van voedingsmiddelen en andere voorraadaanvullingen bij vaste leveranciers en controleren van bestelde voedingsmiddelen.
  • Toezien op de werkzaamheden van de hulpkracht(en), geven van aanwijzingen en instructies.
  • Dagelijks voor sluiting het schoonmaken van de eigen werkomgeving, keukenapparatuur en -machines en het assisteren van de eventueel aanwezige keukenhulp bij het geheel schoonmaken van de keuken als het opslaan van geleverde goederen.
  • Bijdragen aan kwaliteit en optimalisatie en aanpassing van menukaarten als het uitwerken van receptuur en bereidingsinstructies.
  • Je hebt een afgeronde MBO-3 opleiding (of vergelijkbaar), met aantoonbare kennis van basis kooktechnieken.
  • Je bent een goede teamspeler die zich flexibel opstelt en beschikt over goede communicatievaardigheden.
