Breng financiële sturing in de kern van de organisatie.

Als Senior Financial Controller ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het financiële fundament van de organisatie. Jij zorgt ervoor dat cijfers meer zijn dan een registratie van het verleden: ze bieden inzicht, richting en grip. Met jouw helikopterview overzie je de totale financiële performance en borg je dat de organisatie aantoonbaar in control is.

In deze rol combineer je inhoudelijke financiële expertise met overzicht, koersvastheid en een scherp oog voor verbetering. Jij bent een stevige gesprekspartner die complexe vraagstukken weet te vertalen naar heldere keuzes voor de organisatie.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Senior Financial Controller draag je zorg voor betrouwbare, tijdige en inzichtelijke financiële rapportages. Je speelt een sleutelrol in de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen en waarborgt de kwaliteit en consistentie van de cijfers.

Je bewaakt het totaaloverzicht over de financiële keten en zorgt dat processen strak, beheerst en toekomstgericht zijn ingericht. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met de teamleads van Purchase to Pay (P2P) en Order to Cash (O2C), waarmee je volledig zicht hebt op wat er speelt binnen de end‑to‑end processen.

Daarnaast fungeer je als primair aanspreekpunt voor externe accountants en stem je complexe accountingvraagstukken af met Group Control. Je weet deze vraagstukken inhoudelijk te doorgronden en helder te vertalen naar praktische en werkbare oplossingen binnen de organisatie.

Je verzorgt een zorgvuldige overdracht richting Business Control, zodat zij kunnen bouwen op robuuste cijfers en scherp geformuleerde inzichten. Tegelijkertijd kijk je continu vooruit: je signaleert verbetermogelijkheden, initieert optimalisaties en draagt actief bij aan het verder professionaliseren en future‑proof maken van financiële processen.

Functie-eisen

Wat breng je mee?

  • Een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in Finance, Accounting of Bedrijfseconomie
  • Minimaal enkele jaren ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een scherp oog voor detail
  • Het vermogen om overzicht te houden en verbanden te leggen (top-down inzicht)
  • Ervaring met financiële afsluitingen en rapportageprocessen
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om complexe materie begrijpelijk te maken
  • Proactieve houding en een drive om continu te verbeteren
