The posting

Excelerate LLC is a boutique consulting firm distinguished by its hands-on, collaborative approach to solving complex business challenges. We partner closely with our clients, bringing deeply experienced consultants who work in a facilitative style to deliver practical, lasting impact. Our work is grounded in four core values: humility, energy, integrity, and flexibility. These principles shape our culture, guide our work, and define the people who thrive here.

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive execution across a portfolio of enterprise transformation initiatives spanning ERP/EPM modernization, Chart of Accounts redesign, contract lifecycle management, and privacy programs. This is a technically fluent leadership role, partnering closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex domain requirements into structured, delivered outcomes.

This role is not about managing status reports – it's about redefining how finance, legal, and privacy operate in a modern, cloud-native environment, and then making it happen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Leadership

- Lead large-scale finance transformation programs (must have led at least two end-to-end transformations).

- Coordinate across finance, product, and technology teams to drive execution against roadmap, milestones, and dependencies.

- Manage program risks, timelines, and stakeholder alignment in a complex, matrixed environment.

- Facilitate executive-level decision-making and provide clear recommendations to senior leadership.

EPM/ERP Domain Expertise & Advisory

- Drive key architecture and design decisions across ERP and EPM platforms (Oracle preferred).

- Lead evaluation of solution options and tradeoffs, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.

- Advise on ERP/EPM integration strategy, including how upstream design decisions impact downstream planning and reporting.

- Help the SteerCo think through what to automate, what to rethink, and how to move from legacy processes to cloud-native best practices.

Finance Process & Chart of Accounts (CoA) Transformation

- Lead redesign of planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, reimagining FP&A for a cloud-native environment.

- Enable a modern FP&A operating model that improves cycle times, data accuracy, and decision support.

- Lead and advise on end-to-end Chart of Accounts redesign, a core pillar of the transformation.

- Ensure alignment between CoA design, EPM planning models, reporting hierarchies, and business dimensions.

- Partner with finance stakeholders to align solutions with operational and strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

- Deep expertise in finance process and operating model transformation, with a strong understanding of how to reimagine finance functions (FP&A, Record-to-Report, planning, and reporting) in a cloud-native environment.

- Strong understanding of the EPM landscape, including how planning, forecasting, and reporting integrate across platforms.

- Experience leading Chart of Accounts redesign and understanding how upstream ERP architecture supports downstream EPM and reporting.

- Experience establishing program governance, operating rhythms, and mobilization plans for large-scale transformations.

- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to C-suite stakeholders.

- Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving scope in long-term transformation programs.

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Technology, or related field preferred.

- Comfortable engaging with IST time zone on occasion to support global program coordination.

Location:

- Mountain View, CA or San Diego, CA preferred

- West Coast candidates considered with occasional travel to Mountain View

Employment Type:

- Project-based hourly W2 (benefits eligible) with the potential to convert to W2 Salary

Hourly Rate:

- $90 - $100

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
