Job Description

AreaRequired experience

Market data operations

Hands-on ownership of subscription requests, provisioning, transfers, terminations, inventory, and access reviews

Vendor and licensing knowledge

Practical experience with relevant providers such as Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv, FactSet, or S&P; understanding of display/non-display use, redistribution restrictions, and exchange obligations

Contract and cost management

Contract registers, renewal and cancellation deadlines, invoice reconciliation, usage analysis, and license optimization

Team leadership

Work allocation, quality assurance, coaching, capacity planning, escalation management, and service-level accountability

Transformation delivery

Current-state assessment, process redesign, SOP development, control implementation, and measurable improvement

Client management

Leading workshops and service reviews, resolving ambiguity, presenting recommendations, and managing onshore/offshore dependencies

Systems and tools

Market data management platforms, vendor portals, ITSM workflows, and reporting tools; ability to define integration and automation requirements

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Market Data Operations & Transformation Lead to lead an offshore team supporting a financial-services client.

Candidates must demonstrate hands-on market data operations experience, including entitlement and subscription lifecycle management, vendor administration, licensing controls, contract renewals, and invoice reconciliation. They must also have led teams and delivered process improvements or transformation initiatives.

Relevant vendor experience includes Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv, FactSet, and S&P. Exposure to Calero or TRG Screen is desirable.

Please prioritize candidates who have owned market data services and can substantiate their leadership responsibilities and transformation outcomes. General data engineering or analytics experience alone is insufficient.

Please include each candidate’s directly relevant years of experience, vendors and platforms managed, team size led, operational scope, and one market data transformation example.
