Voor een toonaangevende, internationaal actieve specialist in geavanceerde machinebouw en maatwerkoplossingen in de regio Moeskroen zijn wij op zoek naar een daadkrachtige Production Leader. In deze sleutelpositie sta je met beide voeten op de vloer: je vormt de motor achter een hecht team vakmensen, stroomlijnt de complete montageflow van complexe klantsystemen en zet je schouders onder het moderniseren van de werkplaats.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Operationeel leiderschap: Dagelijks coachen, aansturen en inspireren van circa 20 monteurs, lassers en mechaniekers. Je bouwt aan een cultuur van vakmanschap, eigenaarschap en absolute veiligheid.
  • Planning & projectbeheersing: Vertalen van de engineeringsplannen naar een strakke, haalbare werkplaatsplanning. Je bewaakt mijlpalen, voorkomt knelpunten en garandeert een tijdige oplevering conform strenge kwaliteitseisen.
  • Operational Excellence: Analyseren van montagetijden, stilstanden en materiaalstromen. Je initieert pragmatische verbetertrajecten (Lean/5S) en begeleidt de introductie van paperless manufacturing en digitale werkvoorbereiding.
  • Technisch support & apparatuur: Zorgen voor een optimaal geoutilleerde werkplaats. Je ziet toe op de keuring en kalibratie van montagetools, borgt preventieve onderhoudslijnen en schakelt direct met toeleveranciers bij machinestoringen.
  • KPI's & cross-functioneel overleg: Fungeren als spilfiguur tussen R&D, werkvoorbereiding en directie. Je rapporteert over de dagelijkse voortgang, OEE-cijfers en rendementen.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Opleiding & denkniveau: Hogere technische opleiding (Bachelor Elektromechanica, Werktuigbouwkunde of Industrieel Ontwerpen) of een solide staat van dienst opgebouwd vanuit de praktijk.
  • Trackrecord: Minimaal enkele jaren ervaring als meestergast, teamleader, chef d'atelier of productieverantwoordelijke in de zware assemblage, apparatenbouw of industriële constructie.
  • Leiderschapsstijl: Natuurlijk leiderschap gekenmerkt door nuchterheid, nabijheid op de werkvloer en duidelijke communicatie. Je weet mensen mee te krijgen in veranderingen.
  • Systemen & tools: Ervaring met moderne ERP-pakketten en affiniteit met datagedreven productieopvolging.
  • Talen: Uitstekende tweetaligheid Nederlands - Frans (gesproken en geschreven), gezien de grensoverschrijdende teamsamenstelling in regio Moeskroen.
