Family First Home Companions is hiring dependable and compassionate caregivers throughout Nassau County!

Whether you're looking for a few hours a week, a full-time schedule, daytime hours, evening work, or overnight shifts, we have opportunities to match your availability and experience.

If you have professional home-care experience, we'd love to hear from you. HHA/PCA/CNA certification is welcome but not required for caregiver positions where certification is not required.

What You'll Do

Depending on the client's needs, you may:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with activities of daily living
  • Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
  • Assist with personal care and mobility
  • Accompany clients to appointments and activities
  • Provide supervision and a safe, comfortable environment
  • Help clients remain independent in their own homes

βœ… What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience in the U.S.
  • Home-care experience preferred
  • Compassionate, dependable, and responsible
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Reliable transportation may be required depending on the assignment
  • HHA/PCA/CNA certification is a plus, but not required for applicable caregiver assignments
