Are you an experienced caregiver looking for a consistent Mondayโ€“Friday schedule with a company that values the work you do?

Family First Home Companions is looking for a compassionate and dependable caregiver to assist a client in Syosset.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys providing companionship, helping clients remain active and independent, and making a meaningful difference in someone's day.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
  • Drive and accompany the client to activities, appointments, and outings
  • Assist with daily living needs
  • Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
  • Encourage independence and participation in daily activities
  • Provide a safe, caring, and positive environment
  • Communicate professionally with the client and care team

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience in the U.S.
  • Home-care experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required
  • Comfortable driving the client as needed
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Dependable, compassionate, and responsible
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • HHA/PCA/CNA certification is welcome but not required
