  • Advise Fannie Mae in connection with its derivatives and similar financial instruments used in structured finance or capital markets activities.
  • Counsel business and policy partners on complex or evolving securitization and servicing matters, assessing legal and regulatory risks and developing practical solutions that support business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Capital Markets and other legal, business, operations, policy, risk, and servicing stakeholders on transaction structures, policy initiatives, and evolving market or regulatory requirements.
  • Build effective relationships with sophisticated business clients and serve as a trusted legal advisor, applying sound legal and business judgment and translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical guidance.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple legal disciplines and, as appropriate, with outside counsel on matters of significance to the company.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • At least 8 years of relevant legal experience, including substantial experience with complex residential mortgage securitization or structured-finance transactions in the private-label securities market, GSE market, or a comparable mortgage capital markets environment.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage securitization transactions, including transaction structures, offering and disclosure documentation, applicable securities laws, and investor considerations.
  • Understanding of the cash-flow mechanics of underlying mortgage products and their relevance to mortgage securitization and servicing.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex legal and business issues, exercise sound judgment, and develop effective relationships with sophisticated business clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Experience:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
