Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Strategy & Management

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and timely submission of management accounts.

B. Facade Financial Management

  • Monitor financial performance and profitability of all facade projects.
  • Oversee facade project costing, budgeting, WIP, and cost control.
  • Monitor facade project variations, progress claims, retention sums, and subcontractor payments.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Commercial Teams to manage project costs and minimise financial risks.
  • Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.

C. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Manage overall cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
  • Monitor collections, outstanding receivables, and payment obligations.
  • Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, bank guarantees, and performance bonds.
  • Ensure sufficient cash flow to support ongoing projects and business operations.

D. Financial Control & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, statutory requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Oversee external audits, internal audits, and tax matters.
  • Identify and manage financial and operational risks.

E. Leadership & Business Support

  • Lead and develop the Finance and Accounts team.
  • Provide financial analysis and commercial advice to support management decisions.
  • Drive cost optimisation, process improvements, and finance digitalisation.
  • Work closely with operational and project teams to improve overall business performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in the Facade industry is required and mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting, construction costing, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and team leadership.
