The Ben Smith Agency in Culver City is looking for a driven, results-oriented professional who knows how to turn conversations into sales and wants to build a lasting career in the insurance industry.

We're interested in individuals who are confident prospecting, comfortable working toward production goals, and motivated by performance-based earnings. Whether your background is in insurance, automotive, banking, retail, or another sales-driven industry, we'll provide the training and resources to help you apply your skills to insurance.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Develop new business through agency-provided leads, referrals, outbound calls, and networking

- Build rapport with prospective customers and identify their insurance needs

- Present and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products

- Prepare quotes, address objections, and confidently close sales

- Maintain consistent prospect follow-up and manage an active sales pipeline

- Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing customer relationships

- Track sales activity and work toward individual production targets

- Build a referral network and contribute to continued agency growth

- Participate in sales coaching, product training, and ongoing development

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Previous sales experience with a demonstrated ability to meet goals

- Confidence initiating conversations and making outbound calls

- Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills

- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment

- Resilience when handling rejection and overcoming objections

- Organized with consistent follow-through and pipeline management

- Willingness to accept coaching and continuously improve

- Insurance experience and licensing preferred, or willingness to obtain required licenses

- Interest in long-term career growth and increased responsibility
