Este puesto es responsable de proporcionar servicios de transporte seguros, puntuales y profesionales en apoyo de las operaciones de la empresa, empleados, visitantes y actividades comerciales. El Chofer garantiza el traslado seguro de personal, documentos, materiales y activos de la empresa, al tiempo que mantiene los vehículos de la compañía en excelentes condiciones de operación y brinda un servicio al cliente excepcional.

Funciones esenciales:

  • Operar los vehículos de la empresa de manera segura y de conformidad con todas las leyes de tránsito, políticas de la empresa y requisitos de seguridad.
  • Transportar a empleados, visitantes, ejecutivos e invitados desde y hacia los lugares designados, según sea necesario.
  • Realizar viajes locales y transfronterizos entre México y Estados Unidos para apoyar las operaciones comerciales.
  • Entregar y recoger documentos, paquetes, suministros y otros materiales de la empresa de manera puntual y segura.
  • Apoyar eventos, reuniones y proyectos especiales de la empresa mediante servicios de transporte y asistencia logística.
  • Coordinar necesidades urgentes de transporte, incluido el traslado de materiales, suministros o equipos críticos.
  • Realizar inspecciones rutinarias de los vehículos e informar de inmediato cualquier necesidad de mantenimiento, reparación o aspecto relacionado con la seguridad.
  • Coordinar el mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de los vehículos para garantizar una operación confiable y segura.
  • Mantener los vehículos asignados limpios, organizados y presentables en todo momento.
  • Planificar rutas y horarios de viaje eficientes para optimizar los tiempos de traslado y apoyar las prioridades del negocio.
  • Mantener registros precisos del uso de los vehículos, kilometraje, actividades de mantenimiento y consumo de combustible.
  • Realizar otras funciones que le sean asignadas.

Requisitos:

  • Se requiere diploma de preparatoria o equivalente.
  • Mínimo 1 año de experiencia como chofer, mensajero, en transporte o en un puesto similar.
  • Licencia de conducir vigente y buen historial de manejo.
  • Capacidad para viajar a través de la frontera entre México y Estados Unidos y mantener vigente toda la documentación de viaje requerida.
  • Conocimiento de las normas de tránsito, las prácticas de seguridad vehicular y las técnicas de manejo defensivo.
  • Sólidas habilidades de organización y capacidad para gestionar múltiples prioridades y horarios.
  • Orientación al servicio al cliente, con sólidas habilidades interpersonales y de comunicación.
  • Persona confiable, profesional, puntual y capaz de manejar información confidencial con discreción.
  • Flexibilidad de horario y disponibilidad para atender las necesidades del negocio, incluidos viajes ocasionales o servicios de transporte fuera del horario laboral habitual.
  • Habilidades básicas de inglés verbal y escrito.
