El Técnico de Soporte de Escritorio es responsable de garantizar que todos los usuarios de la organización tengan acceso y soporte adecuado para los equipos de cómputo y dispositivos asociados, permitiéndoles desempeñar sus funciones de manera eficiente y productiva.

Responsabilidades Principales

  • Brindar asistencia a los usuarios en la resolución de problemas técnicos relacionados con computadores de escritorio y otros dispositivos asociados, como impresoras y escáneres.
  • Instalar y configurar software y hardware nuevos.
  • Diagnosticar problemas y resolver incidencias técnicas.
  • Elaborar manuales de usuario y guías de apoyo para los usuarios finales.
  • Configurar y brindar soporte a redes de área local (LAN), redes inalámbricas (WiFi) y redes de área amplia (WAN).
  • Ensamblar, configurar, probar y mantener estaciones de trabajo y computadores portátiles.
  • Gestionar el despliegue de computadores de escritorio y dispositivos móviles, incluyendo su instalación, configuración, mantenimiento, monitoreo y solución de problemas.
  • Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con otros miembros del equipo de TI para integrar sistemas y proporcionar soluciones efectivas.
  • Colaborar en el desarrollo de materiales de capacitación dirigidos a usuarios finales.
  • Realizar cualquier otra actividad que sea requerida por el Gerente de Tecnologías de la Información (IT Manager).

Requisitos y Calificaciones

  • Título técnico, tecnólogo o profesional en Tecnologías de la Información, Sistemas o áreas afines, o experiencia equivalente.
  • Capacidad demostrada para diagnosticar y reparar equipos de cómputo.
  • Certificación A+ (deseable, pero no obligatoria).
  • Buenas habilidades de comunicación oral y escrita.
  • Capacidad para seguir instrucciones y trabajar de manera autónoma.
  • Fuertes habilidades de análisis y resolución de problemas.
  • Experiencia en sistemas operativos de red, como Windows Server, Linux u otros similares.
  • Conocimiento de protocolos y tecnologías comunes de redes, incluyendo TCP/IP, DHCP y DNS.
  • Familiaridad con aplicaciones de uso corporativo como Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat y herramientas relacionadas.
