Especialista en Instrumentación de Campo | Field Instrumentation Specialist

Únete al equipo de Cobre Panamá como Especialista en Instrumentación de Campo. En esta posición, serás responsable de apoyar las actividades de mantenimiento, preservación y confiabilidad de los sistemas de instrumentación industrial, asegurando la operación segura y eficiente de equipos críticos dentro del sitio.

Tendrás la oportunidad de trabajar en un entorno industrial de gran escala, colaborando con equipos multidisciplinarios de mantenimiento, operaciones e ingeniería para garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares de seguridad, calidad y desempeño operacional.

¿Cómo se ve el éxito en esta posición?

Tus principales contribuciones serán:

  • Ejecutar actividades de inspección, calibración, mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de instrumentos de campo.
  • Diagnosticar y resolver fallas en sistemas de instrumentación y control asociados a equipos de proceso.
  • Garantizar la confiabilidad y disponibilidad de instrumentos críticos para la operación.
  • Apoyar la implementación de mejoras continuas en sistemas de medición, control y automatización.
  • Cumplir con los procedimientos de seguridad, estándares técnicos y requerimientos regulatorios aplicables.
  • Colaborar con las áreas de mantenimiento, operaciones e ingeniería para optimizar el desempeño de los activos.

Requisitos mínimos

  • Título universitario o técnico en Instrumentación, Electrónica, Electromecánica, Automatización Industrial o disciplinas afines.
  • Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en mantenimiento e instrumentación industrial dentro de minería.
  • Experiencia práctica en calibración, configuración, mantenimiento y diagnóstico de instrumentos de presión, temperatura, nivel, flujo y válvulas de control.
  • Conocimiento de protocolos de comunicación industrial como HART, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus o similares.
  • Capacidad para interpretar diagramas P&ID, lazos de control y documentación técnica.

Deseable

  • Experiencia previa en operaciones mineras o plantas metalúrgicas.
  • Conocimiento de sistemas PLC, DCS o SCADA.
  • Certificaciones técnicas en instrumentación, automatización o mantenimiento industrial.
  • Inglés intermedio
