What you’ll do:

  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause identification, recommending long-term resolutions across the platform.
  • Implement application enhancements and fixes for issues reported by downstream teams or end users.

  • Create regular status reports using MTTR and MTTA metrics.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 5+ years of engineering, production support, administration, or similar experience, including at least 3 years as a production support analyst.
  • Knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, FTP, SFTP, SAMBA, NFS, and Boot FS.
  • Hands-on scripting experience with Shell, Perl, PowerShell, or Python for automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
  • Prior Fiserv experience is required.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Understanding of ITIL concepts; ITIL certification is preferred.
  • Experience with service delivery processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, and Release Management.
  • Application production support experience in a 24x7 environment, including automation across Unix and Windows and knowledge of Red Hat Linux, AIX, Solaris, and SUSE Linux.
  • Knowledge of schedulers and databases, including UNIX crontab, Control-M, AutoSys, Windows Task Scheduler, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and MariaDB.
  • Experience with certificate management, Splunk, Dynatrace, PCF, and Kubernetes.

How you’ll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role, as in-person office experiences support onboarding and stronger productivity.
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire position; contract options and unsolicited agency submissions will not be considered.
  • Each shift includes at least one weekend day or evening.

Travel:

  • Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
