Job Title

Technical Program Manager

About your role:

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex product engineering programs across full stack customer-facing platforms, from service architecture through user experience delivery. You will partner with software engineering, product management, and business leadership teams to translate strategic goals into executable technical programs. Your work will help improve delivery predictability, align cross-functional priorities, and accelerate the launch of scalable, high-quality products in dynamic environments.

What you'll do:

  • Lead end-to-end technical programs across full stack product engineering environments, including customer-facing services, applications, and experience-focused delivery.
  • Bridge software engineering, product management, and business leadership teams to define program scope, execution plans, milestones, and measurable delivery outcomes.
  • Coordinate multi-team deliverables, manage dependencies, track critical paths, and drive release schedules across complex technical initiatives.
  • Translate broad business objectives and customer needs into actionable technical requirements, delivery plans, key performance indicators (KPIs), and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to align design, development, testing, release, and operational readiness across distributed workstreams.
  • Drive program governance through regular status reviews, risk management, issue tracking, escalation planning, and stakeholder communication.
  • Communicate clearly with technical teams and non-executive leadership through structured updates, delivery dashboards, and risk reviews.
  • Support teams in navigating ambiguity, resolving blockers, and maintaining execution discipline in fast-moving, high-scale product environments.
  • Contribute to process improvements that strengthen release coordination, delivery transparency, and cross-team accountability.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program delivery, or related roles in product engineering environments.
  • Experience leading technical programs across customer-facing, high-scale, dynamic application environments spanning services and user experience delivery.
  • Experience coordinating multi-team deliverables, dependency management, critical path tracking, and release scheduling across complex engineering initiatives.
  • Experience translating business goals and customer requirements into technical plans, KPIs, SLAs, and measurable delivery outcomes.
  • Experience communicating with technical teams and business stakeholders through regular status reviews, risk reviews, and structured program governance.
  • Experience supporting or delivering high-throughput, scalable distributed systems or large-scale consumer or enterprise products.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience in financial services, payments, or other high-availability product environments.
  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams in full stack delivery models.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery frameworks in enterprise engineering programs.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent certification.

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv. Please:

  • Apply using your legal name
  • Complete the step-by-step profile and attach your resume (either is acceptable, both are preferable).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
