We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy, modern independent garage in Northampton.

This is a great opportunity to join a workshop that is clearly investing in its environment, equipment and reputation. The garage is clean, well presented and professionally set up, with multiple bays and the sort of space and standards you would expect from a business that takes pride in what it does. This is not a cramped, worn-out workshop - it is a good-looking operation with a strong local presence and a steady flow of work.

The role would suit a solid Technician or Mechanic who is confident carrying out servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs, and who enjoys working in a professional workshop where standards matter.

The role will involve:

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
  • Working on a range of vehicles in a busy independent garage environment

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently without cutting corners
  • A professional attitude and pride in your work
  • Full UK driving licence
