UNCAGE YOUR AMBITION as a Brand Reputation Manager

We are FlightHub Group, an ambitious team of people that created FlightHub and Justfly. Our brands have grown to become two of the top-ranked travel agencies in North America. We now serve over 3 million customers per year, generating more than 3 billion dollars in sales, and we continue to grow stronger year over year. We dream big, pursue passionately, and follow through with resolute self-belief and rigorous commitment. We are a group of individuals sharing a common vision and values, having come together to pursue a collective mission: overtaking the #1 spot in the world.

We are looking for a Brand Reputation Manager, someone who combines strong media instincts, analytical thinking, and a passion for technology. Someone who doesn't just execute traditional PR activities, but actively looks for smarter, more scalable ways to identify opportunities, develop compelling stories, and expand our media reach.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building new processes, experimenting with emerging technologies, and taking ownership of measurable results.

What You'll Do

  • Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets across Canada and the US. Develop compelling stories, pitches, press releases, and communications materials.
  • Media Intelligence: Develop scalable processes to continuously monitor industry news, travel trends, competitor activity, and emerging media opportunities.
  • Data-Driven Storytelling: Leverage FlightHub's travel search, pricing, and booking data to uncover original insights and turn them into compelling stories for journalists.
  • Media Outreach: Develop and optimize processes for identifying relevant journalists, managing media contacts, personalizing outreach, and tracking results.
  • Technology & Innovation: Identify, implement, and manage technologies, AI-powered tools, and automation workflows to improve the efficiency and scalability of PR activities.
  • Brand Health: Monitor brand mentions, public sentiment, and emerging reputational risks, coordinating appropriate responses.
  • Performance: Track media coverage, publication quality, search visibility, and other key performance indicators. Continuously improve results through experimentation and data analysis

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of experience in PR, media relations, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of journalism, media outreach, and what makes a story newsworthy.
  • Comfortable working with AI tools, automation platforms, APIs, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to independently research, evaluate, and implement new technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into compelling stories.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently, from concept through implementation and optimization.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI agents, workflow automation platforms, or low-code development tools.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, APIs, n8n, Make, or similar technologies.
  • Experience building data collection, monitoring, or automated outreach systems.
  • Experience in travel, technology, or e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools, SEO, and Google News.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent growth in high-quality earned media coverage.
  • Stronger relationships with relevant journalists and publications.
  • A reliable pipeline of original, data-driven stories.
  • More efficient and scalable PR and media intelligence processes.
  • Measurable improvements in brand visibility, reputation, and media performance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
