Your Role and Impact

As a Quality Manager, you will lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives that ensure our products, processes, and services consistently meet customer expectations. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to drive operational excellence, reduce defects, and improve overall plant performance.

You will have the opportunity to make a measurable impact on customer satisfaction, product quality, and business results by leading root cause investigations, implementing process improvements, and developing a strong culture of quality throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead plant quality initiatives to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
  • Coordinate process audits, inspections, and quality assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and reduce defects.
  • Analyze quality performance metrics and develop corrective and preventive actions to improve KPIs, including FPY, COPQ, OTD, and customer satisfaction measures.
  • Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving activities using structured methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, A3, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles to improve operational performance.
  • Manage supplier quality activities, including incoming material quality, supplier performance monitoring, and source inspections.
  • Oversee calibration programs, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), inspection plans, and nonconformance reporting processes.
  • Lead and develop the Quality Control team while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Management, or Manufacturing Quality within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable quality improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of ASME, ISO 9001, ASTM, and API standards.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience developing and implementing PFMEA and Control Plans.
  • Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) or Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) experience.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with PMI methodologies.
  • Experience leading quality teams within heavy industrial, rotating equipment, pump, valve, or engineered product manufacturing environments.
