ABOUT THE TEAM AND PROGRAMME

The Polaris programme is a 3-year global finance transformation initiative designed to standardise finance processes, modernise technology, and strengthen Flutter's operating model through the implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions.

As part of this transformation, existing local ERP and EPM platforms will be replaced with a unified cloud-based ecosystem, enabling greater scalability, operational efficiency, compliance, and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

The Global Finance Training team plays a critical role in driving user readiness and adoption, ensuring employees across multiple regions are equipped to successfully transition to new systems, processes, and ways of working.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Global Training Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of learning solutions that support this large-scale transformation programme.

Reporting to the Global Finance Training Lead, you will own the end-to-end learning and enablement strategy, leading a team of training professionals to deliver impactful learning experiences that drive user adoption and business readiness.

You will combine expertise in Instructional Design, Digital Adoption Platforms (OGL /WalkMe /Whatfix), Content Strategy, Training Operations, and Learning Analytics to ensure learning interventions are scalable, measurable, and aligned to programme objectives.

This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can partner effectively with global stakeholders, influence decision-making, and deliver high-quality learning solutions within a complex transformation environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Global Finance Training Lead in executing the overall learning and enablement strategy for the Polaris programme.
  • Lead and develop a team of instructional designers and training developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning solutions aligned to programme timelines and business objectives.
  • Own the instructional design strategy, applying adult learning principles and best practices to create engaging, role-based learning experiences.
  • Establish and maintain content governance, quality standards, and development frameworks across all learning assets.
  • Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of learning content, including e-learning, instructor-led training, virtual learning, videos, simulations, user guides, and performance support materials.
  • Own the learning content strategy, ensuring assets are scalable, reusable, and aligned to programme milestones and learner needs.
  • Design and continuously improve role-based learning journeys that support user readiness and adoption.
  • Lead the Digital Adoption Platform strategy, leveraging Oracle Guided Learning (OGL), WalkMe, Whatfix, or similar technologies to embed learning within user workflows and accelerate proficiency.
  • Partner with Programme, Change, Technology, and Finance stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance adoption through digital learning and performance support solutions.
  • Define and maintain role-based competency frameworks and learning standards.
  • Manage the governance of learning assets, repositories, and Learning Management System (LMS) content.
  • Define and track learning effectiveness, adoption, engagement, and proficiency metrics, using data-driven insights to continuously improve learning outcomes.
  • Analyse training and adoption data, providing actionable recommendations and progress updates to programme leadership and stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with global and regional stakeholders to ensure successful planning, coordination, and delivery of learning activities.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, ensuring timely mitigation and continuous optimisation of the learning experience.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED

Experience

  • 12–15 years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Change Enablement, or related disciplines within large, complex organisations.
  • Proven experience leading learning workstreams for large-scale ERP, Oracle Cloud, Finance Transformation, or Digital Transformation programmes.
  • Deep expertise in Instructional Design, adult learning methodologies, and content development.
  • Hands-on experience with Digital Adoption Platforms such as Oracle Guided Learning (OGL), WalkMe, Whatfix, or equivalent solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing learning, instructional design, or training teams.
  • Strong experience in training planning, deployment coordination, learning operations, and programme governance within global environments.
  • Experience designing and delivering blended learning solutions, including digital, virtual, and instructor-led learning.
  • Experience leveraging learning analytics, adoption metrics, and training effectiveness data to drive continuous improvement.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage audiences from end users through to senior leadership.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transformation environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
