If you’re curious about how things could be better and aren’t afraid to question the expected, there’s plenty here to get stuck into! We’re looking for people who explore different possibilities, tackle exciting problems and turn fresh thinking into action. This is your opportunity to bring that thinking to the pricing function, where you’ll think different, and drive outstanding customer experiences to keep our Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Betting & Gaming brands at number one.

What you’ll do

Join our pricing data-science team where you'll drive pricing strategy change from hypothesis to deployment. Your responsibilities will span developing robust experimentation frameworks, overseeing data collection pipelines, building predictive models and translating analyses into actionable intelligence. The impact is substantial—your work directly crafts pricing decisions on millions of transactions across Flutter's sports betting platform.

You will work within the UKI Trading function, connecting with colleagues from across the organisation to solve complex pricing problems and to identify new opportunities for pricing optimisation.

If this sounds like the outstanding opportunity you are looking for, then please read on…

What you'll take on

  • Utilise advanced analytics, AI and data manipulation software to analyse experimental data, identify trends and derive meaningful conclusions for pricing.
  • Set up and define experiments, ensuring robust trial methodologies that yield actionable insights.
  • Develop and sustain pricing models that employ predictive capabilities to develop the pricing strategy on sports.
  • Build and maintain customer segmentations to power measurement and deployment of pricing strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of experimental designs, methodologies, and results to ensure transparency and reproducibility
  • Continuously monitor experiments using data pipelines, tracking key performance indicators and adjusting methodologies as necessary to optimize outcomes
  • Prepare and present findings to key partners, clearly communicating the implications of pricing experiments on future business performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, finance, and product development, to drive pricing objectives forwards for the business.

What you'll bring

  • Proficiency in multiple advanced analytics and data manipulation tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL, Excel, Tableau)
  • Experience solving problems with data / data-science in a commercial setting
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a shown ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Ideally, experience with experiment design and parameter definition
  • Experience in advanced statistical modelling techniques (e.g. regression, significant testing, clustering, A/B testing, time series analysis)
  • Excellent documentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to compose clear and concise reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to lead and own multiple data and analytics assets simultaneously and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative outlook, able to build strong and effective relationships both within the Pricing team and across the business at all levels
  • Ideally, experience working on pricing and/or pricing strategy projects in a large business setting

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
