Our work spans field construction, project delivery, operations, and corporate support in an environment where safety, execution, and reliability matter.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role typically oversees projects or portfolios valued between $3M–$30M and manages multiple field leaders, including construction managers and general foremen.

SCM3’s are accountable for delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective execution by integrating planning, resource coordination, and workforce leadership. Operating in close partnership with project managers and internal stakeholders, SCM3’s drive both day-to-day field execution and long-range construction strategy across diverse scopes and disciplines.

Core Responsibilities

Integrated Field Execution Oversight

  • Provide leadership across all assigned construction scopes, including direct oversight of CM-level personnel, superintendents, subcontractors, and internal crews.
  • Own strategic daily/weekly execution deliverables and ensure task alignment with broader project targets.
  • Proactively address field-level risks, roadblocks, and resource gaps to protect delivery outcomes.

Workforce & Resource Coordination

  • Lead project craft planning across multiple teams and scopes, ensuring optimized labor deployment and site logistics.
  • Ensure site resourcing of tools, equipment, and materials to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Monitor crew utilization and workface planning to align with productivity and earned value targets.

Safety & Quality Management

  • Champion safety leadership by embedding SQP expectations across crews and foremen.
  • Oversee site audits, incident response, hazard mitigation, and safety stand-downs where required.
  • Uphold quality execution through coordination of ITPs, installation verification, redlines, and documentation closure.

Schedule & Progress Integration

  • Translate project schedule into actionable field lookaheads and milestone tracking frameworks.
  • Facilitate coordination between field, QA/QC, engineering, and procurement to ensure construction readiness.
  • Support integration of earned value and production tracking into site-level reporting.

Client Interface & Field Representation

  • Represent construction performance in client meetings, walkthroughs, and milestone updates.
  • Lead daily and weekly field coordination meetings and contribute to recovery strategies as needed.
  • Build client trust through visibility, execution integrity, and clear communication.

Team Leadership & Communication

  • Provide performance coaching and mentorship to construction managers, general foremen, and other site-level leaders. Foster accountability, planning discipline, and skill development across the broader field delivery team.
  • Ensure alignment across multiple field teams and support leadership growth in emerging talent.
  • Foster a culture of planning discipline, execution accountability, and safety-first thinking.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 12–15 years of progressive experience in utility or infrastructure construction, with demonstrated leadership on complex multi-discipline scopes
  • Proven transition from field supervision to integrated project craft leadership.
  • Strong understanding of project execution, craft planning, subcontractor integration, and field resource management.
  • Proficiency with construction productivity metrics, earned value tracking, and basic commercial awareness.
  • Advanced experience with project tools such as Procore, SAP, Primavera or MS Project, and field documentation systems.
  • Diploma or degree in construction, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel or work at remote/active project sites.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
