As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help support the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In This Role….

You will act as a leader focused on quality and process engineering.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do…

  • Establish and maintain operational standards while monitoring adherence to manufacturing operating systemsFacilitate the Results Process using standardized tools and methods Support and resolve team-escalated issues through coaching and abnormality resolution Validate permanent corrective actions and drive continuous improvement to prevent systemic recurrence Allocate resources to maintain production flow and ensure standards are met Plan and monitor maintenance tasks while driving process improvements Manage time and data to foster a continuous improvement mindset Lead the planning, coordination, and management of system changes and transitions Drive the creation and coordination of team activities Foster a culture of communication and recognition to develop a motivated workforce Create a conducive work environment that empowers teams to execute responsibilities

Qualifications

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience OR 8+ years of directly relevant industry experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
  • Fundamental knowledge of quality and process engineering.

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related).
  • Tenure working at an automotive manufacturer.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and constraint management principles.
  • Direct experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, specifically with presses.
  • Proven experience managing a unionized workforce.
