We are seeking an experienced, proactive Marketing Manager – Events & Communications to lead the execution of strategic marketing campaigns, event communications, and related initiatives within a professional law firm environment.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with senior stakeholders, and knows how to turn marketing strategies into successful, well-executed campaigns.

You'll partner closely with attorneys, Business Development, Events, and marketing leadership to manage the full lifecycle of event marketing and communications—from initial planning and invitations through registration campaigns, digital promotion, onsite experiences, and post-event follow-up.

The ideal candidate brings prior law firm or professional services marketing experience, exceptional communication skills, strong project management capabilities, and the confidence to serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders.

Hybrid Schedule: Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office collaboration Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Marketing & Communications

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing communications for firm-sponsored events, programs, and initiatives.
  • Develop compelling event invitations, registration campaigns, reminders, follow-up communications, and promotional materials.
  • Create and execute communication plans that drive event awareness, audience engagement, and registration.
  • Partner with attorneys, Business Development, and Events teams to ensure messaging aligns with firm objectives and target audiences.
  • Coordinate digital and social media promotion to support events and marketing initiatives.
  • Support onsite event communications and post-event engagement efforts.

Marketing Campaign & Project Management

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns in partnership with senior marketing leadership.
  • Translate strategic marketing objectives into organized, actionable project plans with clear timelines and deliverables.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent marketing initiatives while ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and execution across marketing channels.
  • Proactively identify challenges, recommend solutions, and keep projects moving forward.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Relationship Management

  • Build strong working relationships with attorneys, Business Development professionals, marketing leadership, and other key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted marketing partner, providing recommendations on messaging, communications strategy, and marketing best practices.
  • Confidently communicate project updates, timelines, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure all marketing materials reflect the firm's brand, professional standards, and business priorities.

Marketing Technology & Process Improvement

  • Utilize CRM platforms, email marketing tools, website content management systems, and project management software to support marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and update marketing content through platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, or similar systems.
  • Track campaign performance, analyze engagement metrics, and prepare reports and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows, communication templates, and campaign processes.
  • Establish best practices that enhance consistency, efficiency, and overall marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, marketing communications, or marketing project management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing event marketing campaigns, communications, and promotional initiatives.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and messaging skills, particularly for professional audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders, and competing deadlines.
  • Experience working directly with senior leaders, executives, or other high-level stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, email marketing technology, and digital marketing reporting.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Monday.com or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professional judgment, and ability to work independently.

Preferred

  • Prior marketing experience within a law firm, legal services organization, or professional services environment.
  • Experience partnering directly with attorneys and Business Development teams.
  • Familiarity with Drupal, WordPress, or other website content management systems.
  • Experience developing event registration campaigns and analyzing marketing engagement metrics.
  • Experience improving marketing workflows, templates, and communication processes.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
