  • Assessing compliance with Luxembourg and European regulatory frameworks, including CSSF regulations and circulars, EBA and ESMA Guidelines, and applicable governance, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Performing risk assessments, audit planning, walkthroughs, control design and operating effectiveness testing, and remediation follow-ups.
  • Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control frameworks and identifying opportunities to enhance governance and operational efficiency.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients by translating audit findings and regulatory requirements into pragmatic, risk-based business recommendations.
  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of engagements, monitoring timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of Internal Audit methodologies, audit programs, and innovative service solutions.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior consultants while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Risk Advisory, Regulatory Consulting, and Technology Assurance practices.

Your profile

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Advisory, Regulatory Consulting, or Internal Control within a consulting firm or financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of internal audit methodologies, risk-based audit approaches, governance principles, and internal control frameworks, including IIA Standards.
  • Good knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory expectations and applicable European regulatory frameworks, particularly CSSF requirements, corporate governance, AML/CFT, outsourcing, and risk management.
  • Experience auditing financial institutions, particularly banks, investment funds, management companies, AIFMs, or other regulated financial sector entities.
  • Ability to assess business processes, identify control weaknesses, evaluate risks, and formulate clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders, including Authorized Management, Heads of Internal Audit, Compliance Officers, Risk Managers, and business function leaders.
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with business acumen, professional judgment, and a consulting attitude.
  • Proven project coordination and team mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality audit reports and present findings effectively.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; French and/or German are strong assets.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, CPA, or other relevant audit and risk management qualifications are considered an advantage.

We offer

  • Exposure to tier-1 financial institutions and complex governance, risk management, and internal control environments in Luxembourg.
  • A strong focus on personal development and professional growth, including a continuous learning environment with structured training programs and certification support (CIA, ACCA, CPA, CRMA).
  • A dynamic, multicultural, and collaborative work environment with competitive remuneration and benefits.
  • The advantages of working in a human-sized international firm that combines professional excellence with a commitment to societal impact, as well as global reach with a personal and collaborative working culture.
  • A young, energetic, and supportive team culture where your contribution is valued and where you can make a tangible difference for both clients and the firm.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
