The posting

    I. POSITION OBJECTIVE  To monitor the process in the area of responsibility to ensure equipment and control parameters are functioning as designed. To ensure the process is operated in a safe and efficient manner.   II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

Troubleshoot electrical equipment malfunctions Repair electrical equipment & systems Install electrical equipment and control devices/circuits Run electrical conduit, cable tray with associated fitting and wirings Calibrate protective relays and transducers Troubleshoot and program various V.F.D. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in various laboratory equipment Work outside normal shift hours as needed. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, regulatory and company requirements. Comply with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements. Including daily audits. Be active in Operation Clean Sweep and ensure employees are aware of and accountable for prevention of pellet loss, containment, cleanup and disposal. Other tasks and duties assigned by Supervisor to perform test and PM on following equipment:

480V, 4160V and 13.8KV SWGR 13.8KV Capacitor Banks 13.8/4.16KV and 13.8KV/480V Transformers 1000 HP 500V DC Motor and Controller 4160V and 480V MCC UPS System 480V, 4160V and 13.8KV Motors

  III.    QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High School diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s License An associate’s degree in electrical or related fields or an NCCER Certification or a minimum of two (2) years of plant electrical maintenance experience.

Previous Related Experience Required

2 years of experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; Or associate’s degree in electrical or related fields

Technical Skills Required to Perform This Job

Problem-solving mindset Safety Certification or safety classes a plus but not required. VFD and programming experience a plus but not required. Troubleshooting and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently Preventive maintenance knowledge Good communication skills Accountability and reliability Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn
