The posting

About the Role

We are seeking an outcome-oriented Product Manager to join a digital lifestyle app and platform product team, shaping consumer-facing digital products that help users adopt healthier lifestyles.

You will own multiple product capabilities and initiatives end-to-end — from identifying problems and defining desired outcomes, through discovery and delivery, to launch, measurement and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on product ownership role rather than a coordination role. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, designers, data teams, operations teams and external vendors while retaining ownership of product priorities, decisions and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Discovery

  • Own multiple product capabilities and initiatives across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and delivery to launch, measurement and iteration.
  • Understand user and business problems and define clear outcomes and success measures.
  • Use user research, data, experimentation and feedback to validate assumptions and guide product decisions.
  • Translate product opportunities into hypotheses, user stories and acceptance criteria, while maintaining a prioritised product backlog.
  • Work closely with UX/UI teams to design intuitive, user-centric experiences for consumer-facing digital and mobile products.
  • Make product trade-offs based on user value, business impact, evidence, technical feasibility and effort.

Product Delivery & Execution

  • Take ownership of product delivery, including scope, timelines, quality, risks, dependencies and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, QA, Operations and vendors to deliver products iteratively using Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Manage delivery plans, milestones and RAID items, proactively resolving issues and escalating risks with clear recommendations.
  • Define and track product metrics such as adoption, engagement, retention and behavioural outcomes.
  • Use analytics, user feedback and experimentation to continuously improve product performance and user experience.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain product ownership and accountability when delivery is supported by external vendors.
  • Set clear priorities, direction and expected outcomes for vendors.
  • Evaluate vendor recommendations and manage delivery performance, commitments, risks and dependencies.
  • Align business, technology and other stakeholders towards common product outcomes.
  • Communicate progress, risks, priorities and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure product delivery complies with applicable government policies, security, data protection, privacy and operational requirements.
  • Identify and manage product, delivery and operational risks throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work with Engineering, Security, Architecture and governance teams to incorporate appropriate controls into solutions.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, traceability and governance requirements.

Product & Team Culture

  • Take ownership of problems, challenge assumptions and drive issues towards resolution.
  • Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Operations and vendor teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and stronger product management practices.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous environments and take ownership of increasingly complex product areas.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in IT or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in product management or digital product delivery.
  • Proven experience owning and delivering digital products, platforms or product capabilities.
  • Strong product thinking with the ability to define problems, establish success measures and prioritise based on evidence and impact.
  • Experience managing the product lifecycle from discovery and backlog management through delivery, launch and iteration.
  • Strong execution skills across scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, stakeholders and vendors.
  • Experience working with Agile product development teams and a good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and bringing structure to complex problems.
  • Experience working with external technology vendors while retaining ownership of product decisions and outcomes.

Added Advantage

  • Experience with preventive health, wellness, lifestyle or consumer-facing digital products.
  • Technical understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows and modern digital architectures.
  • Ability to discuss technical options and trade-offs effectively with engineers and vendors.
  • Understanding of security, performance, scalability, reliability and operational support considerations.
  • Experience with large-scale digital platforms, healthcare products or government digital services.
  • Experience working within security, privacy, governance and compliance requirements.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
