The posting

Want to run A/B tests every week across fast-growing Shopify brands, and see your experiments increase RPV and revenue?

We’re Fuelerate, a growth partner for Shopify brands.

We work with Shopify brands doing up to $4M/month in sales, where a winning experiment can translate into hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional revenue.

We scale eCommerce stores through customer research, experimentation, and conversion-focused design.

We test everything from offers, pricing, bundles and buy boxes to messaging, landing pages, listicles, navigation and PDPs, then use those learnings to keep pushing RPV higher.

Now we’re hiring an experienced CRO Strategist who loves building hypotheses, prioritizing experiments, analyzing results, and figuring out why customers buy, or don’t.

If you enjoy digging into GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, customer research and test data, then turning those insights into experiments that actually move revenue, this is your role.

What you’ll do

You’ll own CRO strategy across multiple Shopify brands and help them increase RPV through research, experimentation, and continuous iteration:

  • build and prioritize A/B testing roadmaps based on potential impact, data, and customer research
  • develop and run experiments across offers, pricing, bundles, buy boxes, PDPs, landing pages, listicles, messaging, positioning, navigation, upsells, and more
  • analyze test results, understand why something won or lost, and turn those learnings into the next hypothesis
  • review CRO redesigns using our internal framework
  • analyze GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, customer behavior, and quantitative + qualitative data
  • identify conversion bottlenecks and uncover opportunities across the funnel
  • turn data into clear hypotheses and actionable recommendations
  • work closely with designers and developers to take experiments from hypothesis → design → development → live test
  • own the CRO strategy and performance of your assigned accounts
  • lead client communication with clarity and confidence
  • run onboarding calls and recurring strategy calls
  • send progress updates and communicate test results, learnings, and next steps
  • keep accounts moving forward and constantly look for the next opportunity to improve RPV

You’ll work across multiple brands, run experiments constantly, and see the commercial impact of your ideas, not spend six months waiting to ship one test.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on CRO experience, ideally within an agency environment
  • a strong track record of running A/B tests and producing measurable wins
  • hands-on experience with Shopify and DTC/eCommerce brands
  • you already understand experimentation—you don’t need to be taught how to build a hypothesis, read a test, or prioritize an experimentation roadmap
  • strong experience with GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, and behavioral data
  • you can look beyond whether a test won or lost and understand why
  • strong commercial thinking—you understand that CRO is ultimately about increasing RPV and revenue, not just CVR
  • strong communication, curiosity, and speed
  • well written and spoken English
  • confidence presenting strategy, defending your thinking, and communicating results directly to clients
  • ability to manage multiple accounts without losing clarity or momentum

Bonus points for:

  • deep experience with offer testing, pricing, merchandising, PDPs, landing pages, and funnels
  • CRO copywriting
  • basic HTML/CSS
  • experience with Intelligems / Convert / VWO / Optimizely
  • experience running experiments on high-traffic Shopify brands with enough volume to reach statistical significance quickly

Why Fuelerate

We’re not a slow corporate agency.CRO isn’t an add-on service here. It’s what we do every day.

You’ll work with Shopify brands doing serious volume, giving you enough traffic, data, and opportunities to run meaningful experiments and learn fast.

Your ideas won’t sit in a 50-page audit. You’ll have designers and developers who can turn hypotheses into live experiments, and you’ll get to see whether they actually work.

We move fast, focus on impact, and give real ownership.

  • fully remote
  • no pointless meetings
  • high volume of experiments and real customer data
  • work directly with experienced designers and developers
  • ownership over CRO strategy—not just execution
  • mentorship & growth
  • real impact on high-growth DTC brands

The volume and variety of experiments you’ll run across multiple brands means you’ll be constantly exposed to new problems, hypotheses, and learnings.

Challenges (honest bit)This is not a passive role.

You will:

  • manage multiple clients
  • switch contexts quickly
  • make decisions when the data isn’t always perfectly clear
  • come up with new hypotheses constantly—not recycle the same CRO playbook
  • lead client conversations, not hide behind internal work
  • defend your thinking when necessary and change your mind when the data proves you wrong
  • take responsibility for CRO strategy, experimentation velocity, account momentum, and results

If you want a predictable role where you execute the same CRO checklist on every store, this probably isn’t for you.

If you love experimentation, move fast, think commercially, and get genuinely excited when a hypothesis wins and moves RPV, you’ll probably thrive here.

Details

  • Type: Full-time (40h/week)
  • Location: Remote
  • Pay range: $34,000 – $45,000/year, depending on experience

(For exceptional candidates with a strong CRO track record, we are open to considering higher compensation)

  • Reports to: Head of CRO

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
