Technical Sales Manager, Packaging & Storage

Where Operations Meet Opportunity.

Fuller Technologies moves industries forward by designing better ways of working — both inside plants and within our own organization. For more than 140 years, we’ve refined processes and engineered solutions that make complex operations run smoother. And the way we work internally follows the same logic: clear roles, smart collaboration, and a culture built to keep improving.

When you join Fuller, you become part of a team that values your contribution and supports your development. You’ll work with colleagues around the world, gain exposure to a wide range of processes, and grow in an environment built on trust, inclusion, and continuous learning. It’s the kind of role where capability turns into opportunity, and opportunity — into a long-term career. If you want to grow in a company where your work keeps the whole system moving — Fuller is where that happens.

About the role

The Technical Sales Manager, Packaging & Storage is responsible for driving technical sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across cement packaging and storage applications, with a primary focus on Ventomatic packing and loading solutions within selected APAC accounts. The role combines strong technical expertise in cement packaging systems with commercial responsibility to identify opportunities, support customers, and deliver lifecycle value through spare parts, wear parts, services, and upgrades. This position plays a key role in expanding aftermarket business and supporting regional growth objectives.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and customer support for Ventomatic equipment, including rotary packers, valve bag packing machines, loading systems, and related automation and material handling solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with cement industry customers, plant operators, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify, develop, and convert sales opportunities for spare parts, wear parts, services, upgrades, and retrofit solutions for Ventomatic systems.
  • Support regional sales teams and local agents in developing account strategies and executing targeted sales plans for packaging equipment.
  • Conduct regular site visits to customer facilities to assess equipment condition, troubleshoot issues, and recommend technical and commercial solutions.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering, service, and commercial teams.
  • Drive proactive aftermarket engagement to improve equipment reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, installed base performance, and competitor activity related to cement packing technologies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, service, supply chain, and project execution) to ensure timely delivery of solutions and services.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities, forecasts, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, including technical reviews, customer presentations, and sales strategy sessions.
  • Strengthen partnerships with local agents and distributors to maximize coverage and penetration of Ventomatic solutions in the region.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards during all site and customer activities.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent technical and commercial experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial environments, preferably within the cement industry or closely related sectors.
  • Proven track record of success in international aftermarket sales, including spare parts, field services, and upgrade/modernization solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, manage pricing within policy, and protect margin.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly international mindset with experience operating across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Experience working with spare parts, wear parts, service contracts, and equipment upgrades in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with APAC cement markets and customer base is highly desirable.
  • Travel required 70-80%

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
