Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and field-ready Assistant Manager – Projects to oversee project execution, vendor coordination, site operations, and client delivery across our Gurgaon and Delhi NCR project sites.

In this role, you will bridge design plans with ground execution, ensuring living bioscape installations, indoor/outdoor greening projects, and landscape works are completed on time, within budget, and to Gamlaa’s signature quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Project Management

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of corporate landscaping, indoor bioscape installations, and green walls across Gurgaon project sites.
  • Interpret landscape drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), layout plans, and technical specifications for flawless ground implementation.
  • Conduct daily/weekly site visits to track progress, monitor material delivery, and ensure quality control.

2. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

  • Manage on-site contractor teams, horticultural laborers, carpenters, and civil work vendors.
  • Coordinate plant supply chain, potting media, containers, planter fabrication, and irrigation hardware delivery to sites without project lag.
  • Ensure strict adherence to site safety protocols and Gamlaa’s aesthetic and quality benchmarks.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client facility managers, architects, general contractors, and project leads on-site.
  • Conduct joint site walk-throughs, manage client handovers, and collect project sign-offs.
  • Provide timely status reports, progress photos, and milestone updates to internal management and clients.

4. Cost & Schedule Control

  • Prepare and monitor project execution timelines (Gantt charts / schedules) to prevent project delays.
  • Control material wastage on site and track project expenditure against approved BOQs.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for vendor billing, client invoicing, and milestone payments.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on project management experience in corporate interiors, commercial landscaping, real estate fit-outs, or architectural site execution.
  • Location: Must be based in or willing to travel across Gurgaon & Delhi NCR project sites.
  • Technical Skills:Strong ability to read architectural CAD drawings, BOQs, and site layouts. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic project tracking tools. Knowledge of indoor/outdoor plant varieties, irrigation systems, or planter fabrication is a strong advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent client communication, strong vendor negotiation skills, leadership under tight deadlines, and a problem-solving mindset.
