The posting

Sales Executive, Kenya Market (2 positions)

Location: Nairobi (on-site, with field visits)

Reports to: Country Manager

Employment: Permanent, with a 3-month probation

Salary: KES 25,000 per month

About Our Client

Our client is a vehicle sales business serving customers in Kenya and overseas. They are growing and want to build a team of people who will grow with the company.

The Role

You will go out and find customers instead of waiting for them to come to you. You will manage the full sales process, from first contact to after-sales follow-up, and build lasting customer relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Find new customers through calls, referrals, networks and field visits
  • Manage the full sales cycle: enquiry, presentation, negotiation, closing and after-sales follow-up
  • Keep accurate lead and pipeline records and follow up consistently
  • Visit customers and hold regular meetings
  • Achieve your monthly sales targets
  • Build strong relationships that bring repeat and referral business
  • Share market and competitor feedback with management
  • Follow company pricing, documentation and ethics requirements

What You'll Need

  • A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field
  • At least 2 years' experience in sales, such as telemarketing, merchandising, showroom or direct sales
  • No motor industry experience required
  • Willingness to do regular field visits (a valid driving licence is an advantage)
  • Good record-keeping and CRM discipline
