Als Director Clinical Monitoring and Site Management (m/w/d) übernehmen Sie die Gesamtverantwortung für die Abteilung Klinisches Monitoring und Site Management mit Fokus auf Qualität, Effizienz und KPI-basierte Steuerung sowie die strategische Weiterentwicklung und Umsetzung moderner Monitoring-Ansätze (insbesondere Risk-Based Monitoring).

Monitoring und Site Management smart, effizient und qualitätsstark zu gestalten und so die Voraussetzungen für erfolgreiche klinische Studien in einem dynamischen Umfeld zu schaffen.

Die Aufgaben

  • Leitung und Weiterentwicklung der Abteilung Monitoring und Site Management, einschließlich Ressourcenplanung und -steuerung (CRAs, Clinical Team Leads)
  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von SOPs, der Regularien, kundenspezifischer Anforderungen sowie der Time Lines und Budgetvorgaben
  • Zielorientierte Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Kooperationspartnern und Stakeholdern
  • Einsatz und kontinuierliche Optimierung von Risk-Based Monitoring (RBM)-Strategien
  • Erstellung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung von SOPs und Work Instructions
  • Sicherstellung einer effizienten und inspektionsfesten Prozesslandschaft
  • Steuerung anhand eines KPI-basierten Managementsystems (z. B. Monitoring-Qualität, Timelines, Query Rates)
  • Ableitung und Umsetzung von CAPAs und Verbesserungsmaßnahmen
  • Verantwortung für den effektiven Einsatz moderner Systeme (z. B. CTMS, eTMF, LMS)
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit der Geschäftsleitung in allen den Bereich betreffenden Fragenstellungen und ggf. Leitung crossfunktionaler interner Projekte
  • Sicherstellen einer leistungsstarken, skalierbaren Monitoringstruktur mit hohem Maße an Eigenverantwortung und Professionalität
  • Planung, Umsetzung und aktive Kommunikation von Veränderungsprozessen

Was wir erwarten

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Naturwissenschaften, Medizin, Pharmazie oder vergleichbar
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung im klinischen Monitoring innerhalb einer CRO oder der pharmazeutischen Industrie
  • Fundierte Erfahrung in der Implementierung und Nutzung von Risk-Based Monitoring Konzepten
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse relevanter Regularien (ICH-GCP, EU-CTR, etc.)
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Line Management sowie Second Line Management
  • Klares Verständnis von Führung und nachweisbare Erfolge in der Gestaltung und Führung von diversen Teams, auch in einem dynamischen Umfeld
  • Exzellente Kommunikations-, Kooperations- und Führungskompetenz in einem internationalen Umfeld (Deutsch und Englisch fließend).
  • Unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln
  • Ausgeprägte KPI- und Ergebnisorientierung als Grundlage zu Entscheidungsfindung
  • Strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • IT- und Systemkompetenz mit Affinität zu datengetriebenem Arbeiten und Digitalisierung
