Ervaren Bedieningsmedewerker / Shiftleader gezocht voor het mooiste restaurant van Amsterdam Oost! 🌞

Voor het aankomende herfst en winter seizoen zoeken wij ervaren bedieningsmedewerkers en shiftleaders die samen met ons Orchid House naar een hoog niveau tillen. We zijn inmiddels ongeveer een jaar open en nog altijd volop in ontwikkeling.

Ben jij een horeca-professional die energie krijgt van een drukke vloer, graag het overzicht bewaart én collega’s meeneemt in een goede flow? Wil je werken op een plek waar kwaliteit, sfeer en teamwork centraal staan? Dan is dit jouw plek.

Over ons

In september 2025 openden wij de deuren van onze nieuwe zaak: een levendige horeca-hotspot waar buurtbewoners, parkgangers en stadsmensen samenkomen.

Denk aan een sfeervol restaurant met focus op kwaliteit, een gezellige koffiecorner voor je dagelijkse caffeine fix en een cocktailbar voor de avond. Deze zomer hebben we volop gedraaid met ons nieuwe dakterras Strand van Oost, naast onze voor- en achterterrassen.

Onze vibe? Toegankelijk, ontspannen en gastvrij, met liefde voor het vak.

Wat ga jij doen?

Als ervaren bedieningsmedewerker / shiftleader ben jij het aanspreekpunt op de vloer. Je zorgt voor een warm welkom voor gasten, houdt overzicht tijdens drukke shifts en stuurt collega’s aan waar nodig. Je bewaakt de sfeer, kwaliteit en service, en springt zelf net zo makkelijk bij.

Je:

  • Draait zelfstandig shifts
  • Coacht en ondersteunt collega’s op de vloer
  • Houdt overzicht tijdens piekmomenten
  • Denkt mee over verbetering van service en werkprocessen
  • Bent het gezicht van onze terrassen, van ochtendkoffie tot zomeravond met cocktails

Jij bent iemand die:

  • Ruime ervaring heeft in de bediening (leidinggevende ervaring is een grote pré)
  • Natuurlijk leiderschap toont en rust bewaart in drukte
  • Gastvrijheid ademt en oog heeft voor detail
  • Flexibel beschikbaar is (avonden & weekenden)
  • Graag meebouwt aan een nieuw concept
  • Nederlands en/of Engels spreekt

🌿 Experienced Waiter/Waitress / Shift Leader Wanted for the Best Restaurant in Amsterdam East! 🌞

For the upcoming autumn and winter season, we are looking for experienced waiters/waitresses and shift leaders to join our team and help take Orchid House to the next level. We have now been open for about a year and are still growing, developing and improving every day.

Are you a hospitality professional who thrives on a busy floor, knows how to keep an overview and enjoys bringing colleagues together and keeping the team in a good flow? Do you want to work in a place where quality, atmosphere and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do? Then this is the place for you.

About us

In September 2025, we opened the doors to our new venue: a lively hospitality hotspot where local residents, park visitors and city people come together.

Think of a vibrant restaurant focused on quality, a cosy coffee corner for your daily caffeine fix and a cocktail bar for the evening. This summer, we’ve also been making the most of our new rooftop terrace, Strand van Oost, alongside our front and back terraces.

Our vibe? Accessible, relaxed and welcoming, with a genuine love for hospitality.

What will you do?

As an experienced waiter/waitress or shift leader, you are the point of contact on the floor. You make sure guests receive a warm welcome, keep an overview during busy shifts and support and guide your colleagues where needed.

You help maintain the atmosphere, quality and level of service, while being just as happy to jump in and get your hands dirty yourself.

You will:

  • Run shifts independently
  • Coach and support colleagues on the floor
  • Keep an overview during peak moments
  • Contribute ideas to improve our service and work processes
  • Be the face of our terraces, from morning coffee to summer evenings with cocktails

You are someone who:

  • Has extensive experience in hospitality and table service (leadership experience is a big plus)
  • Shows natural leadership and stays calm under pressure
  • Has a genuine passion for hospitality and an eye for detail
  • Is flexible and available in the evenings and on weekends
  • Enjoys helping build and develop a new concept
  • Speaks Dutch and/or English
