En tant qu'Ingénieur DevSecOps, vous serez un contributeur clé responsable de l'automatisation du déploiement des applications de microservices GridOS, dans des environnements de type production, tant dans le Cloud que sur les sites clients. As DevSecOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor responsible for automating the deployment of GridOS microservices applications in production-like environments in the cloud and on customer premises. The successful candidate will focus on executing complex deployment configurations, with a specific focus on system hardening, resilience, and recovery. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our production systems meet stringent non-functional requirements, particularly within the challenging context of air-gapped customer environments.

Job Description

Rôles et responsabilités

  • Automatisation GridOS : Utiliser une expérience pratique confirmée pour automatiser le déploiement de microservices sur des clusters Kubernetes, en garantissant que les configurations répondent aux standards de production.
  • Déploiement en environnement isolé (air-gapped) : Gérer et optimiser les flux de déploiement spécifiquement adaptés aux environnements isolés, en assurant la conformité en matière de sécurité et la standardisation des pratiques opérationnelles.
  • Gestion des pipelines : Maintenir et améliorer la chaine de déploiement continu (Jenkins, Gitea et Nexus), en assurant la fluidité de l'intégration logicielle ainsi que la rigueur du processus de promotion des versions entre les environnements.
  • Durcissement et résilience : Mettre en œuvre le durcissement de la sécurité pour Kubernetes et les composants au niveau de l'application ; participer à l'amélioration des procédures de continuité de service pour garantir une haute disponibilité.
  • Excellence opérationnelle : Identifier les points de blocage lors des déploiements, diagnostiquer les problèmes d'infrastructure et contribuer à l'évolution des procédures opérationnelles (runbooks).
  • Support sur site : Disponibilité et volonté de se déplacer sur les sites clients pour faciliter le déploiement sur site, le dépannage et le support technique.
  • Documentation : Maintenir la documentation technique pour les modèles de déploiement reproductibles, contribuant ainsi à la standardisation de nos processus de livraison.
  • Industrialisation du déploiement en continu (Evergreen) : Contribuer au passage à l'échelle de l'offre « Evergreen » de GEV, visant à automatiser les cycles de livraison pour assurer la mise à jour régulière des environnements de test et de production.

Qualifications requises

  • Maîtrise technique : Expérience pratique de la chaîne d'outils DevSecOps (Jenkins, Gitea, Nexus, Artifactory).
  • Connaissance de la conteneurisation : Expérience démontrée dans le déploiement de microservices sur des clusters Kubernetes.
  • Expertise métier : Une expérience préalable avec les architectures de déploiement GridOS et les contraintes uniques des environnements « air-gapped » serait un atout.

Qualités souhaitées

  • Autonomie : Capacité avérée à travailler au sein d'une équipe de livraison existante et à contribuer efficacement avec une supervision minimale sur des tâches maîtrisées.
  • Résolution de problèmes : Solides capacités analytiques, avec un accent particulier sur l'identification et la résolution de problèmes dans des environnements contraints (isolés).
  • Collaboration : Excellentes compétences relationnelles ; capacité à travailler efficacement avec des ingénieurs seniors pour atteindre les objectifs du projet.
  • Esprit de standardisation : Aptitude à documenter, planifier et proposer des améliorations sur les processus d'automatisation existants.
  • Adaptabilité : Capacité à opérer efficacement dans des environnements variés, allant du support à distance aux installations sécurisées chez les clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • GridOS Automation: Utilize proven hands-on experience to automate the deployment of microservices on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring configurations meet production-grade standards.
  • Air-Gapped Deployment: Manage and optimize deployment workflows specifically tailored for air-gapped environments, ensuring security compliance and operational consistency.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gitea, and Nexus, ensuring seamless software integration and release promotion.
  • Hardening & Resilience: Implement security hardening for Kubernetes and application-layer components; assist in refining recovery procedures to ensure high availability.
  • Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot deployment bottlenecks, resolve infrastructure issues, and contribute to the evolution of system runbooks.
  • On-site Support: Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations to facilitate on-site deployment, troubleshooting and support.
  • Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for repeatable deployment patterns, contributing to the standardization of our delivery processes.
  • Evergreen Readiness: Support the scaling of GEV Evergreen offering.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with DevSecOps toolchain (Jenkins, Gitea, Nexus, Artifactory).
  • Containerization Knowledge: Demonstrated experience deploying microservices on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Domain Expertise: Prior experience working with GridOS deployment architectures and the unique constraints of air-gapped environments would be a plus

  • Autonomy: Proven ability to work within an existing delivery team and contribute effectively with minimal oversight on familiar tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with a specific focus on identifying and resolving issues in constrained (air-gapped) environments.

  • Adaptability: Ability to perform effectively in diverse environments, ranging from remote support to secure on-site customer facilities.
